SSA agrees to establish a means of secondary verification (including updating SSA records as may be necessary) for employees who contest SSA tentative nonconfirmations that is designed to provide final confirmation or nonconfirmation of the employees' employment eligibility within 10 Federal Government work days of the date of referral to SSA, unless it determines that more than 10 days may be necessary. In such cases, SSA will provide additional verification instructions.
SSA. Prescribed Procedures for Reporting Lost, Compromised, or Potentially Compromised PII

SSA agrees to establish a means of automated verification that is designed (in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security's automated system if necessary) to provide confirmation or tentative nonconfirmation of employees' employment eligibility within 3 Federal Government work days of the initial inquiry.
SSA. SSA does not have an accuracy assessment specific to the data elements listed in this agreement. However, SSA conducts periodic, statistically valid stewardship (payment accuracy) reviews, in which the benefits or payments listed in this agreement are included as items available for review and correction. SSA quality reviewers interview selected SSI beneficiaries/recipients and redevelop non-medical factors of eligibility to determine whether the payment was correct. Based on the available study results, we have a reasonable assurance that SSA’s accuracy assumptions of a 95 percent confidence level for the monthly benefits or payments listed in this agreement (Fiscal Year 2019 Title XVI Payment Accuracy Report, June 2020).
SSA. If the results of the CPA’s review indicate that the Permitted Entity and/or Financial Institution has not complied with any term of this user agreement or the Banking Bill, SSA, in addition to referring the matter to the appropriate regulatory enforcement agency in accordance with the Banking Bill, may: Perform its own onsite inspection, audit, or compliance review; In accordance with federal law, refer the report to its Office of the Inspector General for appropriate action, including referral to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution; Suspend eCBSV services; Terminate this user agreement; and/or, Take any other action SSA deems appropriate.
