SHOP XXXXXXX. (a) The Union may elect or appoint a Shop Xxxxxxx or Shop Stewards to represent the employees and the Union shall notify the Company as to the name or names of such Shop Xxxxxxx or Shop Stewards. The Company agrees that no Shop Xxxxxxx shall suffer any discrimination by reason of holding such office.
SHOP XXXXXXX. B2.01 The Union shall elect or appoint a Shop Xxxxxxx to ensure that the provisions of this Agreement are adhered to. The Shop Xxxxxxx shall have no authority to alter, amend, violate, or otherwise change any part of this Agreement. The Employer shall recognize the Shop Xxxxxxx as the representative of the Employees, and hereby recognizes that the power to elect a Shop Xxxxxxx on a production or the elimination of the Shop Xxxxxxx position is solely vested with the Union. The Union shall notify the Employer by telephone and in writing of the name of the Shop Xxxxxxx and all respect due the position shall be accorded to the Xxxxxxx. The Union, Shop Xxxxxxx(s) or other appointed or authorized Union representative shall resolve all differences and disputes arising under this Agreement only with an authorized and designated representative of the Employer.
SHOP XXXXXXX. The Employer shall recognize a Shop Xxxxxxx as appointed by Local 669 or elected by the Employees on each production unit. The Employer shall be notified of the identity of the Shop Xxxxxxx. Any person so appointed or so elected shall have the complete cooperation of the Employer in the reasonable performance of his/her duties to inspect all working conditions governed by this Agreement. Shop Stewards shall not be discriminated against.
SHOP XXXXXXX. There will be no discrimination against any worker because of past or present union activities or because of race, creed, sex, age or color. However, no xxxxxxx, unless he/she has been designated as the working xxxxxxx on the job, is to use the Employer’s time for union activities. The Employer shall be informed of the names of the appointed stewards. The authority of the job xxxxxxx shall be limited to the investigation of complaints which may be in violation of this collective bargaining agreement. He/she shall present such finding to the Union Agent for processing. No xxxxxxx shall be allowed to solicit membership in this organization or to collect any monies from any employees, nor shall they have any authority to take strike action or any action interrupting the Employer’s business, and shall perform work of the Employer to the same extent as other employees. When an Employer or superintendent deems it necessary to discharge an appointed working xxxxxxx during the course of a job, he/she will, to maintain harmony, inform the Union beforehand of the necessity of such action.
SHOP XXXXXXX. The Company shall recognize a Shop Xxxxxxx as appointed by the Union and/or elected by the Employees at each shooting place and/or workplace. Any person so appointed and/or elected shall have the complete cooperation of the Company in the reasonable performance of his duties to inspect all working conditions affecting the terms of this Agreement.
SHOP XXXXXXX. 1. A shop xxxxxxx means a shop xxxxxxx and deputy shop xxxxxxx who are elected by organised bank employees from amongst their number.
SHOP XXXXXXX. FUNCTION 5
SHOP XXXXXXX. The Union shall elect or appoint at least one on-set and one off-set Shop Xxxxxxx to ensure that the provisions of this Agreement are adhered to. The Company shall recognize the Shop Stewards as the representative of the Employees and recognizes that the power to elect a Shop Xxxxxxx on a production or the elimination of a Shop Xxxxxxx position is solely vested with the Union. The Shop Xxxxxxx shall have the complete cooperation of the Company in the performance of their duties. The Company shall not bring to bear any disciplinary, discriminatory, or monetary pressure upon any Shop Xxxxxxx as a result of the performance of their duties. The Shop Stewards shall have no authority to alter, amend, violate, or otherwise change any part of this Agreement.
SHOP XXXXXXX. Shop xxxxxxx elections The shop xxxxxxx and deputy shop xxxxxxx are elected from among the senior sal- aried employees of the company or workplace bound by this agreement, and they should be familiar with the conditions at the workplace. All senior salaried employ- ees must be given the opportunity to participate in electing the shop xxxxxxx. The shop xxxxxxx is elected for a fixed term, which is usually two years. All senior sala- ried employees covered by the collective labour agreement may participate in elect- ing the shop xxxxxxx. The need to appoint a shop xxxxxxx as well as specifying the procedure for local co-operation and negotiations shall first be discussed amongst the representatives of the company’s management and senior salaried employees. The need to appoint a shop xxxxxxx shall be noted jointly with the company’s management while taking into account the size, organisational structure and nature of operations of the com- pany. However, the duty to negotiate referred to above does not limit the right to elect a shop xxxxxxx. If there is a need locally for the shop xxxxxxx to also represent the senior salaried employees of other workplaces, a local agreement on sharing the shop xxxxxxx must be concluded with all the senior salaried employees and management of all the workplaces or companies that share the shop xxxxxxx. Deputy shop xxxxxxx A deputy shop xxxxxxx may be elected for workplaces that have at least 10 senior salaried employees. The deputy shop xxxxxxx serves as the shop xxxxxxx’x substi- tute when the shop xxxxxxx is prevented from carrying out their duties. The regulations concerning shop stewards apply to the deputy shop xxxxxxx for the duration of serving as the shop xxxxxxx’x substitute in the manner specified in a no- tification, as referred to in this agreement. Notifications The employer must be notified of who have been elected shop xxxxxxx and deputy shop xxxxxxx, and when the deputy shop xxxxxxx serves as the shop xxxxxxx’x substitute. The employer shall inform the shop xxxxxxx who will negotiate with them on behalf of the company. Duties and conditions for shop stewards The shop xxxxxxx represents senior salaried employees in matters relating to the employer-employee relationship and the application of this agreement.
