After July. 15 and during a contract year a staff member may not request to be released from his/her contract with less than thirty (30) days’ notice. Once the request is submitted the District will post the position. Providing the District posts the position the staff member may be held to his/her contract until the end of the secondary semester grading period, until the completion of the elementary parent conference period, or until the position is filled, whichever occurs first.
After July. 15, 1986 the Company may reorganize the plant, and change or reduce departments (this, as such, has nothing to do with layoffs, any of which will be effected in accordance with this Agreement), and any references in this Agreement to “departments” shall be construed to permit and take into account such reorganization, change or reduction.
After July. 2022, the PTO buyouts set forth in subsections (a) and (b) above will no longer be available. At the close of the 2022 PTO plan year, and for all subsequent PTO plan years, any PTO balance in excess of the required carryover amount is forfeited. Following the close of the 2022 PTO plan year, and for all subsequent plan years, employees are still required to use any carryover hours by the end of thirteen (13) pay periods. It is the employee’s responsibility to request and use carryover hours. Any carryover hours not used by the end of thirteen (13) pay periods is forfeited.
After July. 1, 2041, the Agreement shall remain in force until written notice from either the Conservancy or Authority delivered to the other party not less than one (1) year prior to the proposed termination date. The Agreement may be renewed.
After July. 1st of any given school year, should a teacher resign his/her employment with this school district during the term of this Collective Bargaining Agreement, thereby failing to work for the district for the entire school year as required by his/her teaching contract (1) without procuring written permission from the School Board or (2) without giving sixty (60) days written advance notice, the teacher agrees to pay the school district the sum of $600.00 as reasonable liquidated damages to compensate the district for expenses incurred by reason of the teacher's resignation.
After July. 1, 2016, bargaining unit members who are on an approved medical or pregnancy leave of absence will have their Hospitalization, Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Surgical Medical and Major Medical Programs continued at no additional cost to the bargaining unit member during the period of leave provided the bargaining unit member has been employed by the University for a continuous period of one (1) year or more at the time the leave commences.
After July. 31, any employee who would have received a transfer based on the procedures herein shall 14 be granted the position at the beginning of the following school year. 15
