Where available studies indicate that such Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, Distribution Upgrades, and/or System Protection Facilities that are required for the interconnection of a new, modified and/or expanded Small Generating Facility are not currently in place, System Operator will perform a study, at the Interconnection Customer’s expense, to confirm the facilities that are required for Provisional Interconnection Service.
Provisional Interconnection Service is an optional procedure and it will not alter the Interconnection Customer’s Queue Position and associated cost and upgrade responsibilities.
Interconnection Customer assumes all risk and liabilities with respect to the Provisional Interconnection Service, including changes in output limits and Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, Local Upgrades, and/or system protection facilities cost responsibilities.

Provisional Large Generator Interconnection Agreement shall mean the interconnection agreement for Provisional Interconnection Service established between Transmission Provider and/or the Transmission Owner and the Interconnection Customer.
The maximum permissible output of the Small Generating Facility in the Provisional Small Generator Interconnection Agreement shall be studied and updated each time the conditions assumed in the studies supporting the Provisional Interconnection Service change.

Provisional Interconnection Service shall mean Interconnection Service provided by Transmission Provider associated with interconnecting the Interconnection Customer’s Generating Facility to Transmission Provider’s Transmission System and enabling that Transmission System to receive electric energy and capacity from the Generating Facility at the Point of Interconnection, pursuant to the terms of the Provisional Large Generator Interconnection Agreement and, if applicable, the Tariff.
Provisional Interconnection Service shall mean interconnection service provided by the ISO associated with interconnecting the Developer’s Large Facility to the New York State Transmission System (or Distribution System as applicable) and enabling the transmission system to receive electric energy from the Large Facility at the Point of Interconnection, pursuant to the terms of the Provisional Large Facility Interconnection Agreement and, if applicable, the ISO OATT.
