Manufacturing definition

Manufacturing means all activities related to the manufacture of a Compound, including planning, purchasing, manufacture, processing, compounding, storage, filling, packaging, waste disposal, labeling, leafleting, testing, quality assurance, sample retention, stability testing, release, dispatch and supply, as applicable.
Manufacturing means to make, produce, manufacture, process, fill, finish, package, label, perform quality assurance testing, release, ship or store a compound or product or any component thereof. When used as a noun, “Manufacture” or “Manufacturing” means any and all activities involved in Manufacturing a compound or product or any component thereof.
Manufacturing means, in respect of a particular pharmaceutical, bio-pharmaceutical, diagnostic, or prognostic product, and without limitation, all activities related to the production, manufacture, processing, formulation, filling, finishing, packaging, labeling, shipping, handling, holding, storage and warehousing of such product or any intermediate thereof, including process development, process qualification and validation, scale-up, pre-clinical, clinical and commercial manufacture and analytic development, product characterization, stability testing, quality assurance and quality control.
