Examples of Leave in a sentence
Leave must generally be taken, in the case of an Employee whose employment is continuing into the next school year, in the 4-week period immediately following the final School Term week of the current school year, unless otherwise agreed with Communities at Work.
Leave of absence shall be granted from the employee's place of employment for the duration of the current term of office.
For the avoidance of doubt the Annual Salary is paid each fortnight, including while the Employee is on Annual Leave or not required to work during Non-School Term weeks.
The NES Parental Leave provisions apply when:- • an employee gives birth; • an employee’s spouse / partner gives birth; • an employee adopts a child under sixteen (16) years of age.
Parental Leave provisions, an employee is entitled to take parental leave if the employee:- • has worked for the employer for at least twelve (12) months before the date of birth, the date of adoption; or when the leave starts (if the leave is taken after another person cares for the child or takes parental leave); and • has, or will have, responsibility for the care of a child.
