Indigenous Peoples Plan definition

Indigenous Peoples Plan or “IPP” means any of the plans acceptable to the Bank, adopted by the Borrower, through UCPyPFE-UEP, and/or the pertinent Participating Province when applicable as set forth in the Operational Manual, all prepared and to be carried out following the requirements of the Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework.
Indigenous Peoples Plan means a plan developed by the Recipient pursuant to the Indigenous Peoples’ Planning Framework in accordance with the provisions of Section I. C. of Schedule 2 to this Agreement and acceptable to the Association.
Indigenous Peoples Plan or “IPP” means any of the plans that may be completed during the implementation of the Project, which shall follow the relevant provisions contained to that effect in the IPPF, and which may be amended from time to time with the prior no objection from the Bank.

  • In the event of any unforeseen impact on indigenous peoples, the Borrower shall cause MRTCUD to prepare and submit an Indigenous Peoples Plan (IPP) according to relevant laws and regulations, the agreed Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework and the SPS for ADB concurrence.

  • In the event that such effects were inevitable: prior to commencing said activities, prepare and adopt an Indigenous Peoples Plan, satisfactory to the Association, in accordance with the procedures of the Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework; and thereafter carry out said Project activities in conformity with the Indigenous Peoples Plan.

More Definitions of Indigenous Peoples Plan

Indigenous Peoples Plan means the Recipient’s Indigenous People’s Plan for the Project dated April 2008, and included as part of the Operational Manual, as may be amended from time to time with the prior approval of the Association.
Indigenous Peoples Plan means a document or documents to be prepared, when applicable, in accordance with the provisions of the Indigenous Peoples’ Framework as referred to in Section I.C.3 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement and to be published and available to the public on the website xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xxx.xx, and outlining specific implementation procedures, mitigation measures and monitoring procedures for indigenous peoples under the Project, as said plan may be amended from time to time with the Bank’s prior approval.
Indigenous Peoples Plan or “IPP” means the Recipient’s plan, dated April 2008, outlining measures to ensure culturally appropriate social and economic benefits for the Batwa people under the Project and avoidance, minimization, or mitigation of or compensation for any potential adverse effects on the Batwa people associated with activities to be implemented under the Project, including the Subprojects, as the same may be updated from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Association, and such term includes any schedules to the Indigenous Peoples Plan.”
Indigenous Peoples Plan means the plan submitted by the Program Entity and approved by the Trustee that meets the requirements of the World Bank Policy on Indigenous Peoples and describes any and all required mitigation, monitoring and institutional measures to be taken by the Program Entity during implementation and operation of the ER Program and ER Program Measure(s) to address indigenous peoples issues, as well as the means to implement these measures, all in accordance with applicable World Bank Operational Policies, as modified, adjusted or supplemented from time to time with the prior approval of the World Bank;
Indigenous Peoples Plan means the document (published and available to the public on the website xxx.xxxxx.xxx.xx ), dated October 21, 2005 and outlining implementation procedures, mitigation measures and monitoring procedures for indigenous peoples under the Project to be included in each Institutional Cooperation Agreement, in each Health Care Agreement and in each Health Care Contract; as said plan may be amended from time to time with the Bank’s prior approval.
Indigenous Peoples Plan is added as paragraph (x) of Section 1.02, and the current paragraphs (x) to (ggg) are renumbered as (y) to (hhh) accordingly:
Indigenous Peoples Plan or “IPP” means the plan or plans to be prepared by the Borrower (through MOH with the assistance of FUNASA) under the IPPF (for those selected RHCN Subprojects located in municipalities with indigenous groups, as identified in MOH’s Portaria No. 2656 of October 17, 2007 or any subsequent MOH regulation), setting out the measures to be taken to ensure that indigenous peoples will not be harmed by the Project and to ensure their participation and involvement in the implementation and monitoring of the Project as it affects them.
