Governmental lien means all liens imposed by law upon immovable
Governmental lien means a related lien asserted by, or on behalf of a healthcare- related governmental entity, including but not limited to, liens asserted under Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, Medicaid, Tricare, Champus, Indian Benefit Services and/or the Veteran’s Administration.

Related to Governmental lien

  • Environmental Lien means any Lien in favor of any Governmental Authority for Environmental Liabilities and Costs.

  • Governmental Licenses has the meaning set forth in Section 4.3.

  • Governmental Action means any authorization, application, approval, consent, exemption, filing, license, notice, registration, permit or other requirement of, to or with any Governmental Authority.

  • Governmental Order means any order, writ, judgment, injunction, decree, stipulation, determination or award entered by or with any Governmental Authority.

  • Customary Permitted Liens means, with respect to any Person, any of the following Liens:

  • Governmental Requirement means any law, statute, code, ordinance, order, determination, rule, regulation, judgment, decree, injunction, franchise, permit, certificate, license, rules of common law, authorization or other directive or requirement, whether now or hereinafter in effect, of any Governmental Authority.

  • Environmental Claim means any investigation, notice, notice of violation, claim, action, suit, proceeding, demand, abatement order or other order or directive (conditional or otherwise), by any Governmental Authority or any other Person, arising (i) pursuant to or in connection with any actual or alleged violation of any Environmental Law; (ii) in connection with any Hazardous Material or any actual or alleged Hazardous Materials Activity; or (iii) in connection with any actual or alleged damage, injury, threat or harm to health, safety, natural resources or the environment.

  • Environmental Law means any federal, state, local or foreign statute, law, ordinance, rule, regulation, code, order, judgment, decree or judicial or agency interpretation, policy or guidance relating to pollution or protection of the environment, health, safety or natural resources, including, without limitation, those relating to the use, handling, transportation, treatment, storage, disposal, release or discharge of Hazardous Materials.

  • Governmental unit means a governmental unit as defined in section 101(27) of the Bankruptcy Code.

  • Material Environmental Liabilities means Environmental Liabilities exceeding $500,000 in the aggregate.

  • Environmental Liability means any liability, contingent or otherwise (including any liability for damages, costs of environmental remediation, fines, penalties or indemnities), of the Company or any Subsidiary directly or indirectly resulting from or based upon (a) violation of any Environmental Law, (b) the generation, use, handling, transportation, storage, treatment or disposal of any Hazardous Materials, (c) exposure to any Hazardous Materials, (d) the release or threatened release of any Hazardous Materials into the environment or (e) any contract, agreement or other consensual arrangement pursuant to which liability is assumed or imposed with respect to any of the foregoing.

  • Governmental Body means any government or governmental or regulatory body thereof, or political subdivision thereof, whether federal, state, local or foreign, or any agency, instrumentality or authority thereof, or any court or arbitrator (public or private).

  • Improper governmental action means any action by a district officer or employee:

  • Material Permit shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 3.1(n).
