Continuing Access definition

Continuing Access means Licensee’s continuing access to the Content after the Term, which is unlimited in time, but subject always to all provisions of this License Agreement, excluding, however, the obligation to pay License Fees.

Examples of Continuing Access in a sentence

  • After the Term, Licensee shall have Continuing Access to the Continuing Access Journals first published during the Term, subject to all the terms and conditions of this License Agreement.

  • In respect of any title replaced by such substitution, the Institution will retain Continuing Access Rights to the Licensed Content that was published during the part of the Subscription Period during which the title was a Licensed Title.

  • During the Term, Licensee shall have access to the Continuing Access Journals listed in Section 3.1 first published during the Term.

  • The value of any discontinued Continuing Access Journal will be determined by Licensor in good faith, taking into account factors which may include, without limitation, number of articles, number of pages, impact factor, usage factor, list price, or any other formula including any or all such factors.

  • In the event that a title is cancelled by the Institution, Institution will retain Continuing Access Rights to the Licensed Content that was published during the part of the Subscription Period during which the title was a Licensed Title.

  • In addition, during the Term only, Licensee will be granted access to the Content of the Continuing Access Journals titles published beginning four years prior to the Commencement Date (or, if later, first date of publication).

  • Licensor will use reasonable efforts in line with Licensor’s standard policies to inform Customer and Licensee with respect to the discontinuation of Continuing Access Journals.

  • In the event that a title is canceled by the Institution, the Institution will retain Continuing Access Rights to the Licensed Content that was published during the part of the Subscription Period during which the title was a Licensed Title.

  • This Section only applies to the Continuing Access Journals, as set forth in Section 3.1, for which a print version is available.

  • During the Term, Licensee shall have access to the Continuing Access Journals listed in Schedule 2: Continuing Access Journals first published during the Term.

Related to Continuing Access

  • Continuing Arrangements means those arrangements set forth on Schedule 1.1(24) and such other commercial arrangements among the Parties that are intended to survive and continue following the Separation Time; provided, however, that for the avoidance of doubt, Continuing Arrangements shall not be Third Party Agreements.

  • Open Access means the non-discriminatory provision for the use of transmission lines or distribution system or associated facilities with such lines or system by any licensee or consumer or a person engaged in generation in accordance with the regulations specified by the Appropriate Commission;

  • Lateral Access Roads has the meaning given in subclause (3)(a)(iv));

  • Continuing care means some or all of the following services:

  • Lateral Access Road Licence means a miscellaneous licence granted pursuant to subclause (6)(a)(ii) or subclause (6)(b) as the case may be and according to the requirements of the context describes the area of land from time to time the subject of that licence;

  • Continuing Obligations means obligations or responsibilities that are reasonably expected to or actually continue or arise after Operations on a particular area of the Properties have ceased or are suspended, such as future monitoring, stabilization, or Environmental Compliance.

  • Local Access and Transport Area (LATA) Shall have the meaning set forth in 47 U.S.C. §153.

  • Local Access Transport Area or "LATA" is as defined in the Act.

  • Continuing Contract means a contract for Professional Services entered into in accordance with Section 287.055 of the Florida Statutes, between the District and a firm, whereby the firm provides Professional Services to the District for projects in which the costs do not exceed two million dollars ($2,000,000), for a study activity when the fee for such Professional Services to the District does not exceed two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000), or for work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract with the District, with no time limitation except that the contract must provide a termination clause (for example, a contract for general District engineering services). Firms providing Professional Services under Continuing Contracts shall not be required to bid against one another.

  • Conditional Access means control mechanisms, data structures and commands that scramble and encrypt signals in order to provide selective access and denial of specific channels, data, information or services to paying Subscribers.

  • Continuing care contract means, as stated in RCW 70.38.025, a contract providing a person, for the duration of that person's life or for a term in excess of one year, shelter along with nursing, medical, health-related, or personal care services, which is conditioned upon the transfer of property, the payment of an entrance fee to the provider of such ser- vices, or the payment of periodic charges for the care and ser- vices involved. A continuing care contract is not excluded from this definition because the contract is mutually termina- ble or because shelter and services are not provided at the same location.

  • Conditional Access System means any technical measure and/or arrangement whereby access to a protected radio or television broadcasting service in intelligible form is made conditional upon subscription or other form of prior individual authorisation;

  • Restricted access area means a designated and secure area within a Licensed Premises in a Retail Marijuana Store where Retail Marijuana and Retail Marijuana Product are sold, possessed for sale, and displayed for sale, and where no one under the age of 21 is permitted.

  • Local Access and Transport Area or "LATA” has the meaning given to the term in the Act.

  • Continuing treatment means ongoing medical treatment or supervision by a health care provider.

  • Collateral Access Agreement means a landlord waiver, bailee letter, or acknowledgement agreement of any lessor, warehouseman, processor, consignee, or other Person in possession of, having a Lien upon, or having rights or interests in Borrower’s or its Subsidiaries’ books and records, Equipment, or Inventory, in each case, in form and substance reasonably satisfactory to Agent.
