BAT definition

BAT means Best Available Techniques, as defined in Regulation 3 of the PPC Regulations.
BAT means best available techniques, which means the most effective and advanced stage of development of activities and their methods of operation which indicates the practical suitability of particular techniques to prevent and where that is not practicable to reduce emissions and the impact on the environment as a whole.
