ESMP definition

ESMP means an environmental and social management plan (including any pest management plan), acceptable to the Association and consistent with the ESMF, adopted for the purposes of a Micro-project, and giving details of the magnitude of the environmental impacts, as well as the specific actions, measures and policies designed to facilitate the achievement of the objective of the ESMF under the Micro-project, including the budget and cost estimates, and sources of funding, along with the institutional and procedural measures needed to implement such actions, measures and policies, as such ESMP may be amended form time to time with the prior written agreement of the Association.
ESMP means the Borrower’s environmental and social management plan for the Project prepared in accordance with the ESIA and provided to the Bank on August 10, 2008, as such framework may be updated from time to time by agreement between the Borrower and the Bank, setting forth the mitigating, monitoring and institutional measures to be taken during the implementation and operation of the Project to offset or reduce adverse environmental impacts to levels acceptable to the Bank.

More Definitions of ESMP

ESMP means the plan, in form and substance satisfactory to the Association, describing measures for the mitigation, reduction and or offset of the environmental and social impacts of activities under Part A, B and D of the Project, to be prepared as the case may be, pursuant to the ESIMF;
ESMP means an environmental and social management plan defining measures to manage such risks and impacts, including measures that endeavor to prevent and respond to gender-based violence and sexual exploitation and abuse, and including any schedules to such assessment, and as such assessment may be amended by the Recipient from time to time, with the prior written approval of the Association.

ESMP means the environmental and social management plan for the Project dated October 2013 (and included in the ESIA), updated in compliance with the Environmental and Social Action Plan and where the Borrower is required to prepare an updated or a new environmental management plan, under the Safeguards Requirements, then it means such updated and/or new environmental management plan approved by the Intercreditor Agent for incorporation into the Safeguards and Social Documents.
ESMP means the Borrower’s environmental and social management plan for the Project, furnished to the Bank on January 12, 2005, as such ESMP may be updated from time to time by agreement between the Borrower and the Bank, setting forth: (i) the remedial measures to be taken during the implementation and operation of the Project to offset or reduce adverse environmental impacts, including air and water pollution and waste to levels acceptable to the Bank; and (ii) the rules, procedures and guidelines for the acquisition of land and/or other assets from Project affected persons and/or the resettlement and rehabilitation of such persons and the compensation thereof;
