Volunteer drivers. Any volunteer who agrees to use their personal vehicle to transport other volunteers and/or Breast Cancer Now staff on the day of the event will be made aware of, and must comply with, all guidelines for volunteer drivers stated in the Breast Cancer Now driving policy. Volunteers should abide by the Countryside Code and the Highway Code. No smoking policy Breast Cancer Now operates a no smoking policy at events and respectfully asks all volunteers to refrain from smoking at the event.
Volunteer drivers. Bus drivers shall have the opportunity to sign-up as drivers in the CEP for three (3) time periods each year. The three (3) time periods shall be: A February – June B June for the summer session C August – January A sign-up sheet will be available at least ten (10) calendar days prior to each of the three (3) time periods so that drivers have ample time to volunteer to drive. Such sign-up sheet will be posted for at least five (5) calendar days. Once the sign-up sheet is removed by the Employer, no more volunteers will be permitted for that specific time period. Drivers will be assigned from the sign-up sheet according to seniority and rotated, if necessary, during each time period. Any driver refusing two

Volunteer drivers. Xxxxxxxx recognizes that there will be instances when volunteers may operate their personal vehicle to attend or participate in events on behalf of Xxxxxxxx. This may include providing transportation for Xxxxxxxx students and/or Xxxxxxxx employees. • Our School insurance requires that all volunteer drivers be approved and approval forms kept on file by each Division Office for any such transportation. • The approval form to be executed by any driver of personal vehicle will indicate that the individual vehicle owner understands that he/she has primary responsibility for any and all injury to self and/or occupants of their vehicle and/or damage that could occur in the event of an accident. • All drivers should have current, in force and adequate liability insurance and understand that their personal insurance is primary should damage occur to vehicle and/or injury to driver and/or passengers. Other Driver Information Cell Phone/Electronic Device Use Policy – Xxxxxxxx recognizes that any distraction during driving can put drivers and/or students in a dangerous situation. This policy applies to all employees of Xxxxxxxx, commercially hired drivers and/or volunteer drivers who fit any or all of the following criteria: • Driving on Xxxxxxxx business in any vehicle – personal, rented or school owned. • Driving a school vehicle whether on school business or not. • Driving a personal vehicle on school business. • Placing work-related calls, whether driving on school business or not. • Using a school-issued cell phone or other electronic device while driving. This policy includes any of the following: Cell Phones (mobile phone, smart phone, handheld cell or handset) – a mobile electronic device that engages in telecommunications including voice calls, text messaging, short message service (SMS) and/or email. The devices may also include, but not limited to, internet access, games, multimedia messaging (MMS), instant messaging (IM), digital audio (MP3), cameras, radios and global positioning (GPS).
