SEC Sample Clauses

SEC. 3. (1) Each participating jurisdiction entering into this agreement recognizes that many emergencies may exceed the capabilities of a participating jurisdiction and that intergovernmental cooperation is essential in such circumstances. Each participating jurisdiction further recognizes that there will be emergencies that may require immediate access and present procedures to apply outside resources to make a prompt and effective response to such an emergency because few, if any, individual jurisdictions have all the resources they need in all types of emergencies or the capability of delivering resources to areas where emergencies exist.
SEC. 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and have it published in accordance with City Council policy, either in a daily newspaper circulated in the City of Los Angeles or by posting for ten days in three public places in the City of Los Angeles: one copy on the bulletin board located at the Main Street entrance to the Los Angeles City Hall; one copy on the bulletin board located at the Main Street entrance to the Los Angeles City Hall East; and one copy on the bulletin board located at the Temple Street entrance to the Los Angeles County Hall of Records I hereby certify that this ordinance was passed by the Council of the City of Los Angeles, at its meeting of . SEC. 2.10. An employee who is injured while in the employ of the Company shall continue to accumulate seniority and upon recovery shall be reinstated to his former position with full seniority provided he makes application to return to work within fifteen (15) days after he is pronounced recovered by the Company's physician, if he is physically qualified to perform the work.
SEC. 3.05. In case of failure to agree with the Division Manager of the Company within ten (10) days (Sundays and holidays excluded), all such matters of disagreement not settled in the foregoing manner shall be referred to the Manager of the Labor Relations Department of the Company and the Business Manager of the Local Union or his representative.
