Laptop Care. The student is responsible for care of the laptop. The student shall at all times take reasonable care of the laptop and not expose it to undue risk of damage or theft. The laptop is not insured by the College for loss or theft. Loss or theft of the laptop is to be reported to the student’s pastoral teacher and the college ICT Support Centre immediately. The cost of replacement will be charged to the parents/carers. The replacement laptop will only be issued to the student after the charge is paid in full. Students shall not deface the laptop which will include marking, stickers or scratching of the laptop unit (Adhesive stickers are considered defacing under the agreement)

Laptop Care. Laptops will be issued each Fall. Prior to the start of school, there will be an orientation for students. Parents and students must sign and return the Student User Agreement for the Seattle Hebrew Academy document before the laptop will be issued to the student. Laptops will be collected at the end of each school year for maintenance, cleaning, and software installation. Students will be reissued their original laptop each year while enrolled at Seattle Hebrew Academy. Students are responsible for the general care of the laptop they have been issued by the school. Students should carry their laptops with laptop closed. Laptops must remain free of writing, drawing, stickers, or labels with the exception of school approved covers. Laptops must always be secured. Students are responsible for keeping their laptop’s battery charged for school each day.

At the completion of the school year each student will return their laptop to the school library for safe storage, where it will also be checked thoroughly and assessed for wear and tear. The same laptop will be re-issued to the student at the beginning of the next school year. Students need to be aware that the laptop might be in their bag, or a separate case, during break times. As a result, students will need to exercise care in the yard, not drop their bags, and place them gently out of the way. To reduce the risk of damage, it is strongly advised that students utilise the lockers provided to store their laptops during break times. All students need to be aware that any deliberate or reckless action during lessons or break times that leads to the damage of another student’s laptop will incur consequences, and the student responsible for the damage will be responsible for the costs of repair.

  • Vision Care Effective July 1, 2000, the District shall provide all full-time employees and their dependents with Vision Service Plan (VSP) Plan C. This plan shall provide for a comprehensive exam and new lenses every 12 months, and new frames every 12 months. All other services will be pursuant to the standard VSP plan description, except that it will reimburse up to $50 for examinations by non-panel providers.   • Mastectomy Services Inpatient This plan provides coverage for a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours in a hospital following a mastectomy and a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours in a hospital following an axillary node dissection. Any decision to shorten these minimum coverages shall be made by the attending physician in consultation with and upon agreement with you. If you participate in an early discharge, defined as inpatient care following a mastectomy that is less than forty-eight (48) hours and inpatient care following an axillary node dissection that is less than twenty-four (24) hours, coverage shall include a minimum of one (1) home visit conducted by a physician or registered nurse.
