External Training. Davco encourages employees to undertake external training (after hours) that is relevant to their position within the Company. The following conditions apply: All external training must be approved by the relevant manager prior to commencement. Davco will reimburse all course fees and textbook costs when proof of successful completion of the course is presented. If a course continues for several years, the reimbursement will be annually (textbooks to a maximum of $350.00 annually). No wages or salaries will be paid for attendance of after-hours courses.
External Training. External training refers to training opportunities offered through other police agencies, training agencies, or institutes that may be utilized to enhance individual development and to satisfy training or certification needs that are not available through the local criminal justice training academy. External training often may not be pre-approved or certified by the Department of Criminal Justice Services (“DCJS”). If an employee desires to participate in an external training, the employee should make the request through procedures established by the Department. The Chief of Police will have final approval of all external training requested by employees. Employees who attend Department-paid external training will be expected to teach the training to Department personnel after completion of the training.

External Training. In order to enhance a regular employee’s job performance now, or in the future, the IESO may provide financial support for external training activities consistent with the IESO's Policy, subject to the following conditions:

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.
