Effective June. 30, 2015, a probationary faculty member with a teaching assignment who is in the first year of his/her probationary period will be granted a three credit reassignment per academic year or nine-month appointment to pursue non-teaching activities consistent with Article 22 and described in the faculty member’s professional development plan and professional development report. Normally, a faculty member who receives a reassignment under this paragraph will not be assigned additional instruction on an overload basis.

Effective June. 30, 2013, no bargaining unit member shall be eligible to move to the Bachelor + 45 column. Any existing bargaining unit members who are on the Bachelor + 45 column as of June 30, 2013 shall be grandfathered and allowed to remain on the column.

Effective June. 30, 2016 and thereafter, employees who have a minimum of ten (10) consecutive years of District service just before they are to receive terminal pay benefits and who are retiring/leaving the employment of the District or who are entering into DROP shall have such terminal pay benefits provided to them through the BENCOR National Government Employees Retirement Plan as adopted by the School Board in 1999.
