Watershed management authority definition

Watershed management authority means an authority as defined in Iowa Code section 466B.21.
Watershed management authority or “WMA” means a watershed management authority formed in accordance with Iowa Code Chapter 466B Subchapter II and that has completed all of its required filings with the Iowa Secretary of State pursuant to the provisions of Iowa Code section 28E.8. Appendix A includes Subchapter II of Iowa Code chapter 466B.

  • Management Authority means a national management authority designated in accordance with Article IX;

  • Stormwater management BMP means an excavation or embankment and related areas designed to retain stormwater runoff. A stormwater management BMP may either be normally dry (that is, a detention basin or infiltration system), retain water in a permanent pool (a retention basin), or be planted mainly with wetland vegetation (most constructed stormwater wetlands).

  • Load Management means a Demand Resource (“DR”) as defined in the Reliability Assurance Agreement.

  • Remediation waste management site means a facility where an owner or operator is or will be treating, storing or disposing of hazardous remediation wastes. A remediation waste management site is not a facility that is subject to corrective action under § 264.101 of this regulation, but is subject to corrective action requirements if the site is located in such a facility.

  • Stormwater management basin means an excavation or embankment and related areas designed to retain stormwater runoff. A stormwater management basin may either be normally dry (that is, a detention basin or infiltration basin), retain water in a permanent pool (a retention basin), or be planted mainly with wetland vegetation (most constructed stormwater wetlands).

  • enforcement authority means any person or body having jurisdiction to enforce or to take action under or in respect of the relevant legal requirement.

  • Port Authority means the Port Hedland Port Authority, being the body corporate established for the Port under the Port Authorities Act;
