Vapor pressure definition

Vapor pressure means the pressure of the vapor phase of a substance, or the sum of the partial pressures of the vapor phases of individual substances in a mixture of substances, when in equilibrium with the non-vapor phase of the substance or substances.

Vapor pressure as herein used means Vapor Pressure at 100° Fahrenheit as determined by ASTM Method D-323-90, "Standard Method of Test for Vapor Pressure of Petroleum Products (Reid Method)."

Vapor pressure means the pressure above the surface of a liquid relative to zero pressure (absolute). Also called true vapor pressure.
