Securities Business Day definition

Securities Business Day means a day on which the Fedwire Securities Service is open for business, including sending and receiving Transfers, conducting Issuances, and paying principal and/or interest on Book-Entry Securities.

  • If no such rate has been recommended within one U.S. Government Securities Business Day of the SOFR Index Cessation Event, then the Funding Corporation shall use the Overnight Bank Funding Rate appearing at 3:00 p.m. (New York City time) on the FRBNY’s website (“OBFR”) for any Reset Date after the SOFR Index Cessation Date (it being understood that the OBFR for any such Reset Date will be for transactions made on the related Determination Date).

  • Exchange Business Day means any Scheduled Trading Day on which the Exchange and each Related Exchange are open for trading during their respective regular trading sessions, notwithstanding any such Exchange or Related Exchange closing prior to its Scheduled Closing Time.

  • New York Business Day means each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday which is not a day on which banking institutions in New York City are generally authorized or obligated by law or executive order to close.

  • Domestic Business Day means any day except a Saturday, Sunday or other day on which commercial banks in New York City are authorized by law to close.
