Section 3 Covered Contract definition

Section 3 Covered Contract means a contract or subcontract (including a professional service contract) awarded by the Authority or a contractor for work generated by the expenditure of Section 3 Covered Assistance or for work arising in connection with a Section 3 Covered Development.
Section 3 Covered Contract means a contract entered into directly with HACLA or a subcontract (including a professional service contract) awarded to a Contractor for work generated by the expenditure of Section 3 Covered Assistance, or for work arising in connection with a Section 3 Covered Project, and includes its plural form, “Section 3 Covered Contracts.” It also includes contracts that HACLA has deemed subject to Section 3, as authorized herein.
Section 3 Covered Contract means a contract or subcontract (including a professional service contract) awarded by a Recipient or Contractor for work generated by the expenditure of Section 3 Covered Assistance or for work arising in connection with a Section 3 Covered Project. This does not include contracts awarded under HUD's procurement program or contracts for solely the purchase of supplies and materials.

Section 3 Covered Contract means a contractor for work generated by the expenditure of Section 3 Covered Assistance or for work arising in connection with a Section 3 Covered Development.
Section 3 Covered Contract as defined under 24 CFR §135 means a contract or subcontract (including a professional service contract) awarded by a recipient or contractor for work generated by the expenditure of section 3 covered assistance, or for work arising in connection with a section 3 covered project. “Section 3 covered contracts” also do not include contracts for the purchase of supplies and materials. However, whenever a contract for materials includes the installation of the materials, the contract constitutes a section 3 covered contract.
Section 3 Covered Contract means a contract or a subcontract (including a professional service contract) awarded by the Authority or by a Contractor for work on a Section 3 Covered Project and/or any Section 3 Covered Activity. Section 3 Covered Contracts do not include contracts for the purchase of supplies and materials, except where a contract for the purchase of materials includes installation.
