Regulations U and X definition

Regulations U and X. Regulations U and X of the Board as in effect from time to time.

Regulations U and X means Regulations U and X of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from time to time in effect and shall include any successor or other regulations or official interpretations of said Board of Governors relating to the extension of credit by banks for the purpose of purchasing or carrying margin stocks applicable to member banks of the Federal Reserve System.

Regulations U and X mean Regulations U and X of the Federal Reserve Board, as the same is from time to time in effect, and all official rulings and interpretations thereunder or thereof.

Examples of Regulations U and X in a sentence

• No part of the proceeds of any Loan will be used, whether directly or indirectly, for any purpose that entails a violation of any of the Regulations of the Board, including Regulations U and X.

• No portion of any Loan made to the Company is to be used for the purpose of purchasing or carrying any “margin security” or “margin stock” as such terms are used in Regulations U and X of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, 12 C.F.R. Parts 221 and 224.
