Regular Work Day definition

Regular Work Day. A 24-hour period beginning at 12:01 a.m., or as specified by the department and approved by ACTTC/Payroll containing a specified number of work hours (normally 8, 9, 10, or 12 consecutive hours of work) and normally interrupted by a meal break.
Regular Work Day means an employee’s regularly scheduled work day and/or hours of work.
Regular Work Day means Monday through Friday, other than official county holidays unless otherwise determined by the department head.

Examples of Regular Work Day in a sentence

  • All Work must be done during Regular Work Day hours (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) Monday through Friday.

  • Overtime rates shall be paid for all hours worked outside the Regular Work Day if no permit has been issued for Flextime.

More Definitions of Regular Work Day

Regular Work Day means from 12:01 a.m. one morning to 12:01 a.m. the following morning.
Regular Work Day means a contracted day as determined by the school calendar. Contract days will be seven (7) hours per day in duration for the five day school week and eight (8) hours and twenty-two (22) minutes per day for the four day school week, not including lunch period.
Regular Work Day means any day of teacher attendance required by regulations of the employing unit including legal holidays which fall on any otherwise regular workday.
Regular Work Day means those hours of work established from time to time for each individual employee in accordance with the ESA.
Regular Work Day. For the determination of overtime worked in the ”regular work week,” on “scheduled days off” and on holidays, the “calendar day” (i.e., from 12:00 midnight to 12:00 midnight––twenty-four (24) consecutive hours) shall be used. In all cases, the first “regular work day” in the “regular work week” will begin at the time the “regular work week” begins (normally 12:00 midnight), and hours worked on a shift starting in the “regular work day” shall be counted as worked in such “regular work day.”
Regular Work Day. Normally consists of eight (8), nine (9), ten (10), or twelve (12) work hours in addition to an uninterrupted thirty (30) minute unpaid lunch period.

Related to Regular Work Day

  • Regular Full-Time Employee means an employee who is appointed to a regularly scheduled position and is regularly scheduled to work full-time in accordance with Article 14 (Hours of Work and Scheduling). A regular full-time employee is entitled to all of the benefits outlined in the agreement except where otherwise specified.

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.
