Modern Slavery Law definition

Modern Slavery Law means any law of the Commonwealth of Australia or any State or Territory of Australia, and any other applicable law, pertaining to exploitative practices including slavery, servitude, forced labour, human trafficking, debt bondage, child labour and other slavery-like practices.

  • Company shall not terminate the Contract pursuant to Clause33(e) above for an ABC Law Violation or a Modern Slavery Law Violation where the ABC Law Violation or a Modern Slavery Law Violation was committed by a Subcontractor and Contractor terminates or procures the termination of the relevant Subcontract as soon as reasonably practicable.
