Life Members definition

Life Members means those individuals described in Rule 8.

Life Members means the persons appointed from time to time to be the Life Members of the Association in accordance with Article 52;

Life Members means those members of the Association referred to in sub-clause 5(1) and those persons admitted as Life Members of the Association in accordance with sub-clause 5(8) of this Constitution;

• The IEEE Life Members Committee shall approve grants awarded from the IEEE Life Members Fund.

• The IEEE Foundation/Life Members Grants Committee shall be responsible for the Foundation’s Grants Program, including identifying and recommending the theme for the annual Request for Proposals (RFPs); evaluating grant applications for compliance with the goals and objectives of the Foundation; and recommending to the Foundation Board and IEEE Life Members Committee those grant applications deemed meritorious and fundable within the available resources, and the funding source.

• Grants shall be awarded from the IEEE Foundation Fund, and IEEE Life Members Fund.

• The Foundation staff, in conjunction with the Vice President, Grants, shall be responsible for monitoring the grant reports and providing an overall evaluation of each grant to the awarding body, either the Foundation Board or IEEE Life Members Committee.

• Grants shall only be awarded to innovative projects described in grant applications that address the theme topic and are recommended by the IEEE Foundation/Life Members Grants Committee and approved by either the Foundation Board or IEEE Life Members Committee.
