Interruption of Work definition

Interruption of Work means the reduction of an employee’s hours of work.
Interruption of Work means any work stoppage or strike (including economic and unfair labor practice strikes) or any intentional slowdown of work. The term “other concerted action” shall mean picketing or boycott activities by the Union. This provision is not intended to limit the rights of the Union or employees as otherwise permissible under the law.

Related to Interruption of Work

  • Completion of work means completion of the entire contracted work. Exhaustion of quantity of any particular item mentioned in the bid document shall not imply completion of work or any component thereof.

  • Service Interruption means the cessation of electricity supply to an ICP for a period of 1 minute or longer, other than by reason of De-energisation of that ICP:

  • Planned Service Interruption means a Service Interruption that has been scheduled to occur in accordance with schedule 5;

  • Services Interruption Event means any interruption to a Works caused by; a Force Majeure Event, the Customer’s failure to carry out or perform any obligation required of it under this agreement which in the sole opinion of the Company does or may cause a delay in the Works and any other matter which in the reasonable opinion of the Company will cause an interruption or delay in the performance of the Works;

  • Service or services means the performance of work, or the furnishing of labor, time, or effort, or any combination thereof, not involving or connected to the delivery or ownership of a specified end product or goods or a manufacturing process. Service or services may also include an arrangement in which a vendor compensates the Board for the vendor's right to operate a concession.

  • Construction Service Agreement means either an Interconnection Construction Service Agreement or an Upgrade Construction Service Agreement.

  • Supply of services means any transaction which does not constitute a supply of goods.

  • Relevant Force Majeure Event means a Force Majeure Event in relation to which an Affected Party is claiming relief under this Clause 17; and

  • Scope of Work means the description of Services and Deliverables specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • Installation Services means all those services ancillary to the supply of the Plant and Equipment for the Facilities, to be provided by the Contractor under the Contract; e.g., transportation and provision of marine or other similar insurance, inspection, expediting, site preparation works (including the provision and use of Contractor’s Equipment and the supply of all construction materials required), installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, operations, maintenance, the provision of operations and maintenance manuals, training, etc.

  • Outage has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.
