Examples of Independent Tribunal in a sentence
An Affiliated League may report to the Zone Independent Tribunal of the Zone of which that Affiliated League forms part, any player of an Affiliated League Club of that Affiliated League who is selected to play for a team representing that Affiliated League either alone or in combination with another Affiliated League or Leagues who makes himself unavailable to play in that team without reasonable cause or excuse.
If a dispute arises concerning any matter relating to an APPS such dispute must be referred to the League Independent Tribunal of the Affiliated League concerned for hearing and determination.
Any period of Provisional Suspension served by the Player or Related Person (whether imposed or voluntarily accepted in writing, in a form acceptable to the ITF) shall be credited against any period of suspension imposed by the Independent Tribunal, provided that the Player or Related Person must have respected the terms of the Provisional Suspension in full.
Such appeal must be directed by the player to the League Independent Tribunal through the Secretary of that Affiliated League by the Secretary of the Affiliated League Club to which the player has sought a Clearance.
SanctionsWhere the ITF Internal Adjudication Panel and/or Independent Tribunal upholds an allegation of breach of these Regulations, it will determine the sanctions for such breach in accordance with the sanctions provisions in its Procedural Rules, unless these Regulations specify other sanctions for such breach, in which case it will apply the specific sanctions.
In the event no such response is received by that deadline, the Player or Related Person will be deemed to have admitted the Major Offence(s) charged, and to have acceded to the consequences specified in the Notice of Charge.In the event that the ITF withdraws the Notice of Charge, or the Player or Related Person admits the Major Offence(s) charged and accedes to the consequences specified by the ITF (or is deemed to have done so), a hearing before the Independent Tribunal shall not be required.
A player registered with an Affiliated League Club who is refused a Clearance from a Club of the Affiliated League in which he is registered to another Club in the same Affiliated League, may appeal against that refusal to the League Independent Tribunal of that Affiliated League.
A person shall attend and appear before a League Independent Tribunal (Area Appeal Committee hearings are determined by submission – no attendance at such hearings are required) at the date, time and place fixed for hearing.
Subject to Regulation 8.8.2, where a League Independent Tribunal imposes a sanction which prevents the appellant from participating in a match, the appellant shall serve that sanction pending the determination of the appeal.
If the League Independent Tribunal is of the opinion that the Player, Official or Club in question has engaged in unbecoming conduct or conduct which has or is likely to bring the game of football into disrepute, it may make such orders and give such directions in the matter as it thinks fit.
