Image quality definition

Image quality means the overall clarity and detail of a radiographic image. Limiting spatial resolution (or resolving power), image sharpness, and image contrast are three common measures of image quality.
Image quality. The image of a check transmitted via Mobile RDC must be legible. The image quality of the checks must comply with the requirements established from time to time by ANSI, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board, or any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association. The images of the front and back of each check must legibly display all of the following fields of information: o The amount of the check o The payee o The drawer’s signature o The date of the check o The check number o The information identifying the drawer and the paying bank that is preprinted on the check in the MICR line, including the routing transit number, account number, check amount when encoded, serial number and process control field. o All endorsements on the back of the check • Endorsements: You agree to restrictively endorse the back of each check “For Remote/Mobile Deposit Only at CIT Bank to Account (insert account number with us) or similar wording.
Image quality. The image quality must meet the standards established by the American National Standards Institute, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, and any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association. • Endorsements: Written information required on the Front of the original check; must include in the middle of the top between the personal information of the payee and the date of the check should contain “Remote Deposit on [current day’s date]”. Date should appear as the day you are using Remote Deposit app. Endorsements must be made on the back of the share draft or check within 1 ½ inches from the top edge. Your endorsement on the Back of the original check; must include your signature and “Remote Deposit Only on [current day’s date]”. Any loss we incur from a delay or processing error resulting from an irregular endorsement or other markings will be your responsibly.

Image quality. The image of an item transmitted to the Bank using the Mobile Deposit Service must be legible and contain images of the front and back of the Check and otherwise satisfactory to Bank in quality. The image quality of the represented Check must comply with the requirements established from time to time by the American National Standards Institute, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board, or any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association whose instrumentality is associated with a transaction. These requirements include, but are not limited to, ensuring the following information can clearly be read and understood by sight review of the Check image: a) the amount of the Check (both written and numeric); b) the payee; c) the signature of the drawer (maker); d) the date; e) the Check number; f) the information identifying the drawer; g) the paying financial institution that is preprinted on the Check including the MICR line; and, h) all other necessary information appears on the Check and is captured in the image of the Check presented to Bank (including all information necessary for the Bank’s acceptance and negotiation for collection appearing on the front of the Check and a restrictive endorsement and payee’s endorsement applied to the back of the Check).

Reasons for rejection may include any of the following: incomplete or missing endorsement; illegible check or poor image quality; altered check; or duplicate check. American National Bank of Minnesota is not responsible for items not received or for images that are dropped during transmission. Images received will be available to view inside the mobile application. American National Bank of Minnesota further reserves the right to charge back to your account at any time; any item that is subsequently determined not to be an eligible item. You agree that American National Bank of Minnesota is not liable for any loss, costs, or fees you may incur as a result of our chargeback of an ineligible item. “Exception Item” includes, without limitation, an Electronic Item that (a) is illegible or contains MICR data that is not machine-readable,

Without limiting the foregoing, the image quality of the items must comply with the requirements established from time to time by The Cecilian Bank, American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board, or any other regulatory agency, clearinghouse or association. Receipt of Items: We reserve the right to reject any item transmitted through the Services, at our discretion, without liability to you. We are not responsible for items we do not receive or for images that are dropped during transmission. An image of an item shall be deemed received when you receive a confirmation from The Cecilian Bank that we have received the image. Receipt of such confirmation does not mean that the transmission was error free, complete or will be considered a deposit and credited to your account. We further reserve the right to charge back to your account at any time any item that we subsequently determine was not an eligible item. You agree that the Bank is not liable for any loss, costs, or fees you may incur as a result of our chargeback of an ineligible item.

The MCD service allows for the electronic transmission of items only (i.e. scanned and transmitted via a secure online banking session). The image quality of the items must comply with the requirements established by American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board, or any other regulatory agency, clearing house, or association. Items that do not conform to such standards may be rejected for deposit. After receiving an item for deposit, we may reverse the credit if we determine after the deposit that the image does not conform to the required standards.
