Excess Energy definition

Excess Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 4.5(a)(i). [For As-Available Product only]
Excess Energy means Delivered Energy Quantity in excess of [110%] of the Guaranteed Output Threshold.
Excess Energy. If during any settlement interval, the Delivered Energy is greater than the Guaranteed Capacity (“Excess Energy”), then the price paid by Buyer for the Excess Energy shall be zero dollars ($0). If the real-time locational marginal price (as defined by the CAISO) at the Delivery Point is negative for a settlement interval with Excess Energy, Seller shall pay Buyer an amount equal to the product of (i) the absolute value of the Delivery Point LMP, and (ii) Excess Energy.

  • Buyer shall have the right to order Seller to curtail deliveries of Facility Energy, provided that Buyer shall pay Seller for all Deemed Delivered Energy associated with such Buyer-directed curtailments in excess of the Curtailment Cap at the Contract Price, subject to the Annual Excess Energy provisions.

  • Custody, control, risk of loss and title to Excess Energy shall pass from the Seller to MH at the Delivery Point.

More Definitions of Excess Energy

Excess Energy means energy obligated from the Project pursuant to section 105(a)(1)(C) of the Hoover Power Plant Act (43 U.S.C. 619).(j) Firm Energy shall mean energy ob- ligated from the Project pursuant to section 105(a)(1)(A) and section 105(a)(1)(B) of the Hoover Power Plant Act (43 U.S.C. 619).(k) Overruns shall mean the use of ca- pacity or energy, without the approval of Western, in amounts greater than Western’s contract delivery obligation in effect for each type of service pro- vided for in the Contract.(l) Project or Boulder Canyon Project shall mean all works authorized by the Project Act, the Hoover Power Plant Act, and any future additions author- ized by Congress, to be constructed and owned by the United States, but exclu- sive of the main canal and appur- tenances authorized by the Project Act, now known as the All-American Canal.(m) Replacements shall mean such work, materials, equipment, or facili- ties as determined by the United States to be necessary to keep the Project in good operating condition, but shall not include (except where used in conjunction with the word ‘‘emergency’’ or the phrase ‘‘however necessitated’’) work, materials, equip- ment, or facilities made necessary by any act of God, or of the public enemy, or by any major catastrophe.(n) Uprating Program shall mean the program authorized by section 101(a) of the Hoover Power Plant Act (43 U.S.C. 619(a)) for increasing the capacity of existing generating equipment and ap- purtenances at the Hoover Powerplant, as generally described in the report of the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, entitled ‘‘Hoover Pow- erplant Uprating, Special Report,’’ issued in May 1980, as supplemented in the report entitled, ‘‘January 1985 Sup- plement (revised September 1985) to Hoover Powerplant Uprating, Special Report-May 1980.’’
Excess Energy shall have the definition set forth in the Power Purchase Agreement.
Excess Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1(d)(i).
Excess Energy means, for a hybrid Facility, any energy that can be made available by the Facility, for any given hour, in excess of the energy that can be generated by the Facility operating at 100% of Dependable Capacity due to the spare capacity of the Fossil Fuel Fired Component that is available during the periods when the Renewable Component is capable of generating rernewable energy.
Excess Energy means in each hour during the Energy Delivery Period, the amount of Delivered Energy that exceeds the Hourly Limit.
Excess Energy means, in any Contract Year, Facility Energy delivered in excess of one hundred and fifteen percent (115%) of the Annual Contract Quantity for such Contract Year, which deliveries shall be verified in invoices provided by Seller as set forth in Section 11.2(a).
