EMF definition

EMF means the policy framework for environmental management, approved by the Project Implementing Entity’s Board of Directors on July 21, 2009, which sets forth the environmental policies and procedures that shall apply to the carrying out of the Project.
EMF means the Environmental Management Framework, dated November 16, 2005, outlining the procedures for the environmental screening, management, consultation and disclosure related to the selection of the road sections under the Project.
EMF means the Borrower’s Environmental Management Framework for Project execution dated October 20, 2009, prepared by the Borrower, through MAVDT, as approved by the Bank on October 23, 2009 and further revised on November 18, 2010, in which are recorded the objectives, policies, monitoring procedures, time schedules and other environmental provisions to mitigate adverse environmental effects arising exclusively from the implementation of the Project and each Subproject deriving therefrom and financed wholly or partially out of the proceeds of this Loan.

EMF means the Recipient’s Environmental Management Framework which sets out, inter alia: (i) key principles for environmental management of Sub- projects; (ii) procedures to screen and process Sub-Projects for significant environmental impacts, and to assist in mitigating impacts; and (iii) procedures to ensure that these principles and procedures are properly applied;
