To modify the UNC to enable a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) and an Independent Gas Transporter (IGT) to enter into a bilateral ‘operator to operator’ agreement, enabled by the iGT Arrangements Document (IGTAD) and containing Network Entry Provisions, to allow physical gas to be offtaken from a DNO by an IGT, compressed to a higher pressure, then returned to the same DNO by the IGT, through a process known as reverse compression.
The Supplier may vary the Charges if: it is expressly allowed to do so under the Framework Agreement and it gives prior notice to the Customer specifying the variation and the date from which it will take effect; or the relevant Charge(s) to be varied are charges imposed on the Supplier by the Distribution Network Operator and Transmission System Operator retrospectively, in which case the Supplier may pass through these Charges to the Customer.
If at the Effective Date the Customer has entered into a Connection Agreement with the relevant Distribution Network Operator in relation to some or all of its Sites, the Customer shall maintain and comply with such Connection Agreement throughout the Term.
In an Emergency, the Customer shall use its best endeavours to comply with all reasonable requests of the Supplier or the Distribution Network Operator and/or Transmission Licensee for the purposes of: averting or reducing danger to life or property; and securing the safety of the Distribution System and/or the relevant Transmission Licensee's System for the safe distribution and/or transmission of electricity.
