Covered Trip definition

Covered Trip means scheduled trips, tours or cruises for which (a) coverage is requested: and (b) the required premium is submitted prior to the Scheduled Departure Date.
Covered Trip means a) a trip by Public Vehicle where the entire fare has been charged to Your Account, prior to the accident taking place and b) a trip taken by You between the first point of departure and the final destination as shown on Your ticket.
Covered Trip means when a Covered Person is traveling more than 100 miles from his or her Principal Residence and such travel is covered under the Policy and is not excluded under the TRAVEL ASSISTANCE EXCLUSIONS set forth above.

  • The Emergency Assistance Services become available when You actually start Your Covered Trip.

  • Only Covered Expenses incurred during the Covered Trip will be reimbursed.

More Definitions of Covered Trip

Covered Trip means scheduled trips, tours or cruises for which the Eligible Person is traveling more than 100 miles from his or her permanent place of residence.
Covered Trip means a trip: • made by an Insured Person outside the Insured Person’s province or territory of residence; • that does not extend to or past: • the date the Insured Person no longer meets the eligibility requirements set out in section 3; • the date coverage terminates as described in section 4; • that was booked or reserved prior to departure from the Insured Person’s province or territory of residence; and • for which at least 75% of the cost has been charged: • to Your Account and/or • using Your Aeroplan points.
Covered Trip means a period of round-trip travel away from Your Home Country; the trip has defined departure and return dates specified when You enroll.

Note that the day of departure counts as a full day for this purpose.
