Competing Channels definition

Competing Channels means channels of similar genre and language of competing Broadcasters;
Competing Channels means the channel(s) of other broadcasters which are of similar genre and language as each of the respective Channel(s).

Examples of Competing Channels in a sentence

  • The Operator can avail “LCN based discount” by placing each of the Subscribed Channels in the logical channel number (“LCN”) position as set out in Table C below within the same genre in parity with Competing Channels.

  • The Operator can avail “LCN based discount” by selecting either one of the Slabs set out in Table C and placing each of the Channels of the opted bouquet(s) in the logical channel number (“LCN”) position in accordance with the selected slab within the same genre in parity with Competing Channels.

  • Table B of this Annexure D) consecutively in the EPG and also allocates consecutive LCNs to the Specified Channels and their respective Competing Channels.

  • DPO shall not disadvantage or otherwise treat less favourably any of the Channels forming part of the Subscribed Bouquet vis-à-vis their relevant Competing Channels (in terms of Table A above) and in this regard, DPO shall ensure that it place the Channels and their respective Competing Channels consecutively in the EPG and shall also allocate consecutive LCNs to the Channels and their respective Competing Channels.

  • DPO shall not disadvantage or otherwise treat less favorably any of the Channel(s) vis-à-vis their relevant Competing Channels (in terms of Table A above) and in this regard, DPO shall ensure that it places the applicable Channel(s) and their respective Competing Channels consecutively in the EPG and shall also allocate consecutive LCNs to the Channel(s) and their respective Competing Channels.

  • Relative Positioning Incentive on a-la-carte MRP of Channels: Relative Positioning Incentive on MRP of Channels shall mean discount of 15% (fifteen percent) on the a-la-carte MRP of Channels, which shall be subject to DPO granting such relative position (on the EPG of DPO’s Permitted Digital Distribution Platform) to Channel(s) vis-à-vis the Competing Channels in the manner as is set forth in Table A of this Annexure D.

  • In this regard, Affiliate shall ensure that it places the applicable Channel(s) and their respective Competing Channel(s) consecutively in the EPG and also allocates consecutive LCN(s) to the Channel(s) and their respective Competing Channel(s).

  • DPO shall not disadvantage or otherwise treat less favourably any of the Channel(s) vis-à-vis their relevant Competing Channels (in terms of Table A above) and in this regard, DPO shall ensure that it places the applicable Channel(s) and their respective Competing Channels consecutively in the EPG and shall also allocate consecutive LCNs to the Channel(s) and their respective Competing Channels.

Related to Competing Channels

  • Competing Product means [***].

  • Competing Products means any product or service in existence or under development that competes with any product or service of the Company Group about which the Participant obtained Confidential Information or for which the Participant provided advisory services or had sales, origination, marketing, production, distribution, research or development responsibilities in the last twenty-four (24) months of employment with the Company Group.

  • Competing Activities means the same or similar services as Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd is providing to the Restaurant under this Agreement or other activities having a similar purpose.

  • Competing Business means any person or entity that competes with the Company Group in the sale, marketing, production, distribution, research or development of Competing Products in the same markets.

  • Competitive Activities means any business activities in which the Company or any other member of the Company Group engage (or have committed plans to engage) during the Term of Employment, or, following termination of Employee’s employment hereunder, was engaged in business (or had committed plans to engage) at the time of such termination of employment.

  • Restricted Territory means the United States of America.

  • Competing Transaction has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1(n).

  • Competitive Products shall include any product or service that directly or indirectly competes with, is substantially similar to, or serves as a reasonable substitute for, any product or service in research, development or design, or manufactured, produced, sold or distributed by the Company;

  • Competitive Business means any firm, partnership, joint venture, corporation and/or any other Person, and/or any licensee of such entity, that develops, manufactures, markets, distributes, provides, offers, or sells any services or products substantially similar to First Party’s services or products.

  • Protected Territory means the United States of America.

  • Competing Permitted Bid means a Take-over Bid that:

  • Competitive Activity will not include (i) the mere ownership of securities in any such enterprise and the exercise of rights appurtenant thereto or (ii) participation in the management of any such enterprise other than in connection with the competitive operations of such enterprise.

  • Restricted Territories means: (i) Cuba, Sudan, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the territory of Crimea / Sevastopol; and (ii) any other country or territory that is subject to sanctions by the United Kingdom, the European Union, the U.S, United Nations or elsewhere.

  • Competitive Position means any employment with a Competitor in which Executive will use or is likely to use any Confidential Information or Trade Secrets, or in which Executive has duties for such Competitor that relate to Competitive Services and that are the same or similar to those services actually performed by Executive for the Company;

  • Competitor means any business, individual, partnership, joint venture, association, firm, corporation or other entity, other than the Employer or its affiliates or subsidiaries, engaged, wholly or partly, in Company Activities.
