Cash Account definition

Cash Account has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(a)(ii).
Cash Account or “Cash Accounts” means any or all of the segregated trust accounts to be established at the Custodian to which the Custodian shall deposit or credit and hold any cash or Proceeds received by it from time to time, including from or with respect to the Securities or the sale of the Securities of the Company, as applicable, which trust accounts shall be designated the “Cash Proceeds Account”, “Principal Account”, and “Interest Account”.
Cash Account means the account in which the funds handed over by the client shall be held by the Portfolio Manager on behalf of the Client.

Examples of Cash Account in a sentence

  • Shareholders due dividend monies which are held in an Umbrella Cash Account will rank equally with all other unsecured creditors of the relevant Fund and will be entitled to a pro-rata share of monies which are made available to all unsecured creditors by the insolvency practitioner.

  • Therefore in such circumstances, the Shareholder may not recover all monies originally paid into an Umbrella Cash Account for onward transmission to that Shareholder.

  • Currently no interest will be paid on cash held in a Cash Settlement Account or ISA Cash Account.

  • Redemption and dividend payments will, pending payment to the relevant investors, be held in the Umbrella Cash Account.

  • Redeeming investors and investors entitled to dividend payments held in the Umbrella Cash Account will be unsecured creditors of the relevant Fund with respect to those monies.

Cash Account has the meaning given to it in Section 4.1.
