Canadian Base Rate definition

Canadian Base Rate means the rate determined by the Agent as the higher of (i) the annual rate of interest announced by the Agent (or any of its branches) as being its “prime rate” for determining interest rates on Canadian Dollar-denominated commercial loans made by it in Canada and (ii) the BA Rate (after giving effect to any minimum rate set forth in the definition thereof) for a one month BA Interest Period commencing on such day (or, if such day is not a Business Day, the immediately preceding Business Day) plus 1.00%.
Canadian Base Rate means at any time, the greater of (a) the Canadian Prime Rate and (b) except during any period of time during which a notice delivered to the US Borrower under Section 5.8 shall remain in effect, the annual rate of interest equal to the sum of (i) the CDOR Rate at such time plus (ii) one percent (1%) per annum; each change in the Canadian Base Rate shall take effect simultaneously with the corresponding change or changes in the Canadian Prime Rate or the CDOR Rate, as applicable.
Canadian Base Rate means the “base ratepublicly announced by a Schedule 1 chartered bank in Canada selected by Agent.

  • If such Advance is an Index Rate Loan, a rate per annum equal at all times to the sum of (x) the Base Rate, Canadian Base Rate or Canadian Prime Rate, as applicable, in effect from time to time plus (y) the respective Applicable Margin in effect from time to time, payable quarterly on the first day of each February, May, August and November.

Canadian Base Rate when used in reference to any Canadian Revolving Loan or Canadian Revolving Borrowing, refers to a Canadian Revolving Loan, or the Canadian Revolving Loans comprising such Canadian Revolving Borrowing, bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the Canadian Prime Rate.
Canadian Base Rate means, for any day, the rate of interest per annum equal to the greater of (a) the interest rate per annum publicly announced from time to time by the Administrative Agent as its prime rate in effect on such day at its principal office in Toronto for determining interest rates applicable to commercial loans denominated in Canadian Dollars in Canada (each change in such reference rate being effective from and including the date such change is publicly announced as being effective) and (b) the interest rate per annum equal to the sum of (i) the CDOR Rate applicable to bankers’ acceptances with a term of 30 days on such day and (ii) 0.50% per annum.

Canadian Base Rate means the rate determined by the Agent as the rate displayed at or about 10:30 a.m. (New York City time) on display page CAPRIME of the Reuters Screen as the prime rate for loans denominated in Canadian Dollars by Canadian banks to borrowers in Canada; provided, however, that, in the event that such rate does not appear on the Reuters Screen on such day or if the basis of calculation of such rate is changed after the date hereof and, in the reasonable judgment of the Agent, such rate ceases to reflect each Canadian Revolving Lender’s or Canadian Term Lender’s cost of funding to the same extent as on the date hereof, then the “Canadian Base Rate” shall be the average of the floating rate of interest per annum established (or commercially known) as “prime rate” for loans denominated in Canadian Dollars on such day by three major Canadian banks selected by the Agent.
