Alteration or modification definition

Alteration or modification means making a change to the construction, configuration, performance, environmental characteristics, or operating limitations of the affected civil aeronautical product.
Alteration or modification means any change in physical configuration, intensity of use, location, plans, design, site, capacity, treatment standard or method, or other change in a regulated activity or in a noncomplying regulated activity. This term shall not include remediation, routine repairs or maintenance of structures and equipment.

  • Major modification means any physical change in or change in the method of operation of a major stationary source that would result in a significant emissions increase of a regulated NSR pollutant and a significant net emissions increase of that pollutant from the major stationary source.
