Alleged Harasser definition

Alleged Harasser means the person or group who are the subject of allegations of Harassment
Alleged Harasser means the person or group who is the subject of allegations of harassment, bullying and/or victimisation
Alleged Harasser means the person who is alleged or reported to have committed an act of Sexual Harassment.

Examples of Alleged Harasser in a sentence

  • Options may include meeting with the Alleged Harasser to discuss the allegation and make clear that any behaviour that could be considered Harassment under this Policy must stop immediately.

  • Upon request, the Committee on Committees may allow an opportunity for the Complainant, the Alleged Harasser, and others to appear before the Committee on Committees before it takes action.

  • The Complainant and/or the Alleged Harasser may submit a written response to the Third Party Investigator’s written report that finds a false complaint was filed.

  • Alleged Harasser: The individual against whom a complaint of harassment is filed.

  • Often, the Interim Action is to separate the Complainant and the Alleged Harasser.

  • At the conclusion of the investigation, the Third Party Investigator shall prepare and present a written report of the results of the investigation to the Committee on Committees with a copy to the Complainant and the Alleged Harasser.

  • These options include but are not limited to – • Have the two individuals perform their work in different parts of the City Hall building; • Have one of the employees (typically the Alleged Harasser) work from home;• Have one of the employees (typically the Alleged Harasser) work from a different Metro Louisville building; or • Suspend the Alleged Harasser with or without pay, if permitted.It is the responsibility of the direct supervisor of the Complainant to determine appropriate Interim Actions.

  • If the supervisor is the Alleged Harasser, then the Tip Line shall forward the report to the Third Party Investigator and the Committee on Committees.

  • Thefts from carrier, which are the result of improper security measures, is the Customers responsibility.

  • In this case the Alleged Harasser should explain that the behaviour would not be repeated and parties should come to an agreement regarding what is/isn’t acceptable.

Related to Alleged Harasser

  • Alleged father means a man who alleges himself to be, or is alleged to be, the genetic father or a possible genetic father of a child, but whose paternity has not been determined. The term does not include:

  • Alleged wrongful conduct means violation of law, Infringement of Company’s rules, misappropriation of monies, actual or suspected fraud, substantial and specific danger to public health and safety or abuse of authority”.

  • Third Party Infringement has the meaning set forth in Section 5.1.

  • Third Party Infringement Claim has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4.

  • Allegation means any written or oral statement or other indication of possible scholarly misconduct made to an institutional official.

  • Intimidating, threatening, abusive, or harming conduct means, but is not limited to, conduct that does the following:

  • Workplace Harassment means engaging in a course of vexatious comment or conduct against a worker in a workplace that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome”. Ref: Occupational Health and Safety Act, Sec. 1 (1). The employee rights set out above shall be interpreted within the context of the Ontario Human Rights Code. An employee who believes that she has been harassed, contrary to this provision shall be encouraged by both parties to follow the Employer’s policy on harassment and process. Failing resolution, an employee may follow the process set out in the Complaint, Grievance and Arbitration procedure in Article 8 of the Collective Agreement. The employee shall be encouraged by both parties to exhaust these processes prior to filing a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Commission.

  • alleged offender means a person accused of engaging in Prohibited Conduct under this Policy, prior to a determination by the Hearing Panel.

  • Sexual harassment means conduct on the basis of sex that satisfies one or more of the following:

  • Infringement has the meaning set forth in Section 6.3(a).

  • Infringement Claim means a third party claim alleging that the Equipment manufactured by Motorola or the Motorola Software directly infringes a United States patent or copyright.

  • Harassment, intimidation, or bullying means any gesture, any written, verbal or physical act, or any electronic communication, as defined in N.J.S.A. 18A:37-14, whether it be a single incident or a series of incidents that:

  • Retaliatory action means action which includes, but is not limited to, the refusal to continue an agreement, or a material reduction in the quality of service or quantity of products available to a wholesaler under an agreement, which refusal or reduction is not made in good faith.

  • Felonious Assault means a violent or criminal act reported to the local authorities which was directed at you during the course of, or an attempt of, a physical assault resulting in serious injury, kidnapping, or rape.

  • Harassment means engaging in a course of vexatious comment or conduct that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome". ref: Ontario Human Rights Code, Sec. 10 (1)

  • Retaliatory personnel action means denial of any right guaranteed under the Act and any threat, discharge, including a constructive discharge, suspension, demotion, unfavorable reassignment, refusal to promote, disciplinary action, sanction, reduction of work hours, reporting or threatening to report the actual or suspected immigrant status of an employee or the employee’s family, or any other adverse action against an employee.

  • Discrimination or harassment means discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, ancestry, national origin, or disability.

  • Product Infringement has the meaning set forth in Section 9.4(a).

  • Defendants’ Releasees means Defendants and their current and former parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, successors, predecessors, assigns, assignees, partnerships, partners, trustees, trusts, employees, Immediate Family Members, insurers, reinsurers, and attorneys.

  • Harass means to engage in a course of conduct directed at a specific person which causes substantial emotional distress to that person and serves no legitimate purpose.

  • Defendant means any party named as a defendant in the Action at any time up to and including the date when the Court has entered a final order certifying the Settlement Class described in Paragraph 12 and approving this Agreement under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure (“Rule”) 23(e).

  • Harasses means a pattern or course of conduct directed toward another individual that includes, but is not limited to, repeated or continuing unconsented contact, that would cause a reasonable person to suffer emotional distress, and that actually causes emotional distress to the victim. Harassment shall include harassing or obscene phone calls as prohibited by Section 1172 of this title and conduct prohibited by Section 850 of this title. Harassment does not include constitutionally protected activity or conduct that serves a legitimate purpose;

  • Personal harassment means any improper behaviour by a person employed by the Employer that is directed at and offensive to another person employed by the Employer which the first person knew or ought reasonably to have known would be unwelcome. Personal harassment comprises objectionable conduct, comment, act or display that demeans, belittles or causes personal humiliation or embarrassment to the recipient.

  • Released Person means any person who is released on bail or on his personal bond, as the case may be;

  • Plaintiffs’ Releasees means Plaintiffs, and any and all of their related parties, including, without limitation, any and all members of their immediate families, agents or other persons acting on their behalf, attorneys, advisors, financial advisors, accountants, assigns, creditors, heirs, estates and legal representatives.

  • Deliberately indifferent means clearly unreasonable in light of the known circumstances. The school district is deliberately indifferent only if its response to sexual harassment is clearly unreasonable in light of the known circumstances.
