Adequate Country definition

Adequate Country means a country or territory that is recognized under EU Data Protection Laws as providing adequate protection for Personal Data;
Adequate Country means a country or territory outside the European Economic Area that the European Commission has deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for Personal Data pursuant to a decision made in accordance Article 45(1) of the GDPR.

Examples of Adequate Country in a sentence

  • Laws and regulations applicable in EEA countries authorize transfers of your Personal Data between organizations based in the EEA, or from an organization based in the EEA to another organization based in an Adequate Country.
