Work and Full Time Equivalency (FTE. A GA’s FTE is a reflection of the expected hours of work required to complete the work assignment, so as to maintain excellence in their assigned duties. GAs will not be required to work more hours than specified in their Notice of Appointment or to work any hours for which they are not paid. A GA’s FTE should be determined by the following scale of time averaged over the employment period. FTE is based on expected weekly and overall workload during an academic quarter.
