Teamsters Advancement Fund. The Teamsters Advancement Fund shall be for the enhancement of all persons dependent upon any industry represented by the Teamsters. The Company shall make contributions of five cents per hour for which wages are payable hereunder, for each employee and dependent contractor covered by this Collective Agreement. Paymentof said funds shall be made to the appropriate Teamsters Local Advancement Fund by the fifteenth (15th) of the month following that to which they refer. This payment will be independent and separate from any other payment made to the appropriate Locals.   • Step Advancement Each faculty member will be granted one (1) increment on the salary schedule each year up to the maximum allowed. To qualify for advancement one (1) step on the salary schedule, employees must have been employed in a paid status or on any form of medical leave (FMLA, CFRA, etc.), or on military leave seventy-five percent (75%) or more of the school days in a school year.

  • Career Advancement A) In order to attain Professional Teacher Status, the Educator should achieve ratings of proficient or exemplary on each Performance Standard and overall. A principal considering making an employment decision that would lead to PTS for any Educator who has not been rated proficient or exemplary on each performance standard and overall on the most recent evaluation shall confer with the superintendent by May 1. The principal’s decision is subject to review and approval by the superintendent.

  • Salary Advancement Assigned salary ranges normally contain 5 steps. Employees move through these steps on the basis of performance in the position hired/promoted into. Regular, full-time employees shall be eligible for salary step advancement consideration, as follows:

  • Salary Step Advancement No period of unpaid leave shall be counted toward time served for purposes of salary step advancement. Completion of at least 75% of the assigned work year for the employee in a paid status is a prerequisite to salary advancement.

  • Salary Schedule Advancement The base salaries in each cluster within a step may be increased through COLA, turnover savings, increments, and additional educational attainment. Once placed in a cluster within a step, faculty do not move from cluster to cluster except as described in B.3.B below.

  • UNIVERSAL SERVICE FUND 54.1 In order to collect the costs of CenturyLink’s contribution to the Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) in an equitable manner, CenturyLink’s End Users are charged a Federal Universal Service Charge (FUSC). The only customers who are exempt from paying the FUSC to CenturyLink are those reseller CLECs who themselves contribute to the FUSF, or who otherwise qualify for an exemption under the FCC’s universal service rules. In order to obtain an exemption from paying the FUSC to CenturyLink, CLEC must provide CenturyLink a signed statement certifying that it is reselling the services provided by CenturyLink in the form of telecommunications, and will, in fact, contribute directly to the FUSF. If CLEC does not provide this statement, or otherwise certify that it is exempt from remitting the FUSC, CenturyLink must report the revenues obtained from the provision of service to CLEC as End User revenues for purposes of calculating and reporting FUSC contributions, and CenturyLink shall be entitled to recover from CLEC the resulting FUSF contributions attributable to such revenues, in accordance with Applicable Law.

  • Reimbursement to Employer The employee shall pay to the Employer any amount received for loss of wages in settlement of any claims.

  • Education & Assistance Fund a. The Employer shall contribute and remit such contributions to the Union’s Education & Assistance Fund as specified in Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement.

  • REFUND OF UNEARNED COMPENSATION The Party of the Second Part agrees to refund the Party of the First Part any compensation received for which no services were rendered. TERMINATION: This contract may be terminated by either party pursuant to law. OTHER CONDITIONS: Any subsequent contracts shall supersede the provisions of this contract. Student Achievement and Accountability instructional staff may be required to serve students in more than one location. Given this, the 15TH OF SEPTEMBER, 2016.   • PIPELINE SERVICE FUND The Employer shall deduct from each employee covered by this Agreement twenty-five cents ($0.25) for each hour of work earned and remit it monthly to the Pipeline Service Fund.
