Teaching License. If placed on this schedule and have a current teaching license as of September 1 of the current contract year (or upon hire if after September 1), the employee shall receive an additional $1.12 per hour. Teaching License. (separate or as part of a University Site License): Under a Teaching License, the Licenser grants the Licensee, who accepts, personal and restricted right to use the Software, Materialise Medical End-User Software License Agreement – L-100418-08 for Educational Use. Any other use of the Software is absolutely prohibited. For sake of clarity, Clinical Use, Commercial Use and Research Use are absolutely prohibited. The following restrictions apply to a Teaching License: - The Software may be installed on multiple CPU’s, but only at the site of the Licensee, i.e. at a physical location where the educational purposes will be fulfilled. Use of the Software can only be made from that physical location. - The Licensee is not allowed to permit, directly or indirectly, either himself or through a third party, the installation of the Software at another physical location than the one designated in the order form for the Teaching License. If Licensee ordered training, Licenser will provide such training only to the named individual, who will be solely using the Software for Educational Use. The Licensee entitles the Licenser to refer in public without restriction to the educational organisation of the Licensee as official Materialise software user. Licenser may provide Licensee with additional associated material. This material may include: - Medical datasets - Course book These materials may only be used for academic educational purposes in connection with the Mimics Innovation Suite Student Edition, Mimics Student Edition or 3-matic Student Edition. At expiry of the Teaching License, these materials must be destroyed. The Licensee understands that any use of the Software and associated educational materials, which is different than described above, is not allowed under this agreement and requires a different type of license. The Licensee acknowledges that the license fee charged for the Teaching License is advantageous to the standard price list of the Software.

  • Academic Year Academic Year is defined as beginning with the start of fall semester and ending with the completion of spring semester.

  • Teaching Load Full teaching assignments shall normally include 12 course credit hours of scheduled teaching per academic quarter. A reassignment of duty, for the equivalent of 3 or 4 credit course, shall be provided during one term of the first academic year to all newly hired tenure track faculty to further their teaching, scholarship and service and to encourage faculty retention. Wherever possible the University will endeavor to arrange teaching schedules that avoid excessive numbers of preparations and recognize evening and/or off-campus assignments. Class sizes will be established and monitored by the appropriate academic xxxx in consultation with division chairs and affected faculty each term. The following equivalencies will be used in determining teaching assignments:

  • Teaching Loads The range of teaching loads, number of preparations and number of pupil contacts required should provide for effective instruction and meaningful teacher-student interaction. DPS and the Association agree to work together to seek increased state funding to decrease class size. The principal shall report to the CSC, after the roster verification process, the number of students in each class and this will be published in the CSC minutes on the school’s website. For the purposes of this section, a “class” shall be defined as any general education, including electives and model one classes. Upon request, after the roster verification process, the District shall provide the Association with the student information management system data regarding class enrollment.

  • Teaching Assistants 1. All Teaching Assistants shall receive the same remuneration per base unit and the difference between the amount paid a Graduate Teaching Assistant and other Teaching Assistants is an associated scholarship. See XIII D. for appropriate compensation.

  • Clinical 2.1 Provides comprehensive evidence based nursing care to patients including assessment, intervention and evaluation.

  • TEACHING FACILITIES 4.1 The Board agrees to maintain health and safety conditions at each school site in compliance with applicable statutes and/or regulations. Teachers shall not be required to work under unsafe conditions as determined by proper regulatory authority.

  • Team Teaching Unit members participating in team teaching assignments will receive formula hour credit in proportion to the percentage of in-class involvement. When team-taught class sizes exceed the normal, the formula conditions specified in Section 4.3.3 shall apply.

  • INTEREST IN TEACHING PUPILS The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates an 29 understanding of and commitment to each pupil, taking into account each individual's unique 30 background and characteristics.   • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD A. As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes. Teachers shall indicate their presence for duty by placing their signature and time in the proper column of the faculty “sign-in” roster.
