System Boundaries. System boundaries pertaining to the collection, use, retention, disclosure, and disposal or anonymization or personalization of data, are governed by contract provisions for specific service engagements. Third Parties and Internal Use Client Service Data (as defined in this document) is processed by iboss solely. There are no third parties engaged for any processing activities. iboss does have dependencies on our global co-location datacenter partners. These partners have no physical or logical access to any iboss infrastructure or data. Data Elements Processed Client Service Data processed in delivery of the service is highly customizable/variable and dictated by the features applied, administrative configurations, and architectural design decisions. admin user Username may be email address client user Username may be email address tokenized authentication credential single sign on local password - hashed if single sign on not leveraged (best practice) connecting IP address will be IP of the users location user group domain membership authentication events successful/failed attempts destination IP address/hostname private cloud IP addressing (internal/External) if private cloud leveraged network or user level access control lists e.g. geoIP ban lists or network segment control service network bypass configuration defined traffic to bypass proxy source port and destination port (TCP/UDP) websites and cloud application access data (time, upload, download) Classification Level: Private counter measure data (intrusion prevention, malware, data loss) reported details of any triggered security engine signature or other Data Loss Prevention - snippet of offending data May be: Social Security number or credit card number If feature enabled (add on). Feature is highly customizable by client administrator search field/string data Widely depends on configuration and the architecture of the website network statistical data saturation, latency, availability
System Boundaries. According to the interim report by IFEU and IUS, system boundaries specify which unit processes are part of the product system and are thus included in the assessment, e.g. whether the entire - or a partial - life cycle will be analysed. The proposal for the sustainability assessment in BIOCORE foresees to take into account the entire value chain (life cycle) from cradle to grave, i.e. from biomass production to the distribution and usage of final products. The economic data for the product life cycle up to the biorefinery gate is provided by WP1. The focus of the techno-economic evaluation in Task 7.3 is on the biorefinery plant itself and more specifically on a defined set of model biorefinery schemes. The boundary conditions in Task 7.4 are similar to the environmental LCA characteristics of defining a system boundary covering: (1) biomass collection/growth, (2) transportation and storage, (3) biorefinery, (4) transportation and distribution, and (5) use. The biorefinery products are compared to conventional reference products to find out their relative social sustainability and understanding the associated legal and political sustainability implications, but the boundary excludes the use and end phase of the product.
System Boundaries. This study considered all the stages from the extraction of the raw materials, transportation to the different sites where the intermediate processing takes place, component manufacturing, transport to assembly facilities, assembly and finishing, transportation to demo site, installation and operation. Maintenance, disposal and end-of-life activities has been excluded from the system due to the lack of information – see Figure 1.
