Sworn Police Officers. 140. The City may temporarily assign sworn police officers to perform bargaining unit work in the event of an emergency situation or for short-term purposes in order to comply with the medical restrictions upon the police officer. These assignments shall not be made for the purpose of, or with the affect of, holding vacant, and unfilled, bargaining unit positions, or to displace SEIU-represented employees. Severance/Retraining
