Standard Samples Sample Clauses

Standard Samples. Bid Specifications may indicate that the Product to be purchased must be equal to a standard sample on display in a place designated by the Commissioner and such sample will be made available to the Bidder for examination prior to the opening date. Failure by the Bidder to examine such sample shall not entitle the Bidder to any relief from the conditions imposed by the Bid Specifications.

Standard Samples. Upon approval of FAT, three (3) MBPs from each size, shall be signed as standard samples and will be retained by the NAVSEA, DCMA, and Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility (NCTRF) to be used as a guide for all future quality inspections. These items are to be fabricated where the items are going to be produced in production and all future lots. If prime contractor uses multiple subcontractors for production of the end item, each subcontractor shall submit a set of standard samples as well.
