Setter. A setter is an employee who is able to set a die into a machine. This role involves the removal of an existing die and the replacement of this with another die. Storeperson This role is responsible for the packing and distribution of goods to the stores area for the customer. Qualification can include a forklift license. 2nd Class Machinist A 2nd Class Machinist is responsible for the extrusion of raw material for the production of a final product for the customer. Indicative tasks include: • Completion of changeover on coilers, packers, xxxxxx • Operation of machinery or equipment to manufacture parts • Completing documentation for first off checks • Setting up of machinery and equipment to produce the product • Reviewing product for quality defects utilising and completing relevant paperwork • Completion of SIM paperwork when required 2nd Class Assembler A 2nd Class Assembler is able to carry out advanced and complex work including spot welding, MIG welding, spray-painting and robotic machine operation. Classification: Level Six Job Role: Technical Trainer, Driver, Senior Operator, Senior Storeperson, Multi- skilled Welder, Trainee Setter/Operator, Examiner An employee classified at this level: • Is able to understand detailed instructions and work from procedures. • Is able to work alone without direct supervision. • Is responsible for the quality of his or her own work. • Possesses sound interpersonal and communication skills. • May possess basic computer skills. Employees at this level are subject to a yearly performance review. Employees at this classification have a duty to adhere to safe systems of work and take reasonable care not to expose themselves, others or the environment to unnecessary risk. Technical Trainer This role is responsible for the assessment of employees who wish to transition between levels 1-5 in this classification structure. They have the ability to assist in the development of training material and to assess employees against criteria for their role in the relevant job description. Qualifications include Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. This role involves the removal of an existing die and the replacement of this with another die. This level may also be utilised for the 2nd year of the Setting Traineeship. Storeperson (Packer) This role is responsible for the packing and distribution of goods to the stores area for the customer. Qualification can include a forklift license but employees at this level will not be required to operate a Forklift. 2nd Class Machinist A 2nd Class Machinist is responsible for the extrusion of raw material for the production of a final product for the customer. An employee may be classified in this classification for a maximum period of 12 months but may progress to the Level Six classification sooner if he or she meets the requirements of that classification.
