Common use of Section 4.5 Clause in Contracts

Section 4.5. 16 The President of the Association and designated representatives will be provided time off without loss 17 of pay to a maximum of ten (10) days per year to attend regional or State meetings when the purpose 18 of those meetings is in the best interests of the District as determined by the District administration; the 19 association shall reimburse the District for the cost of substitutes if needed and any other cost 20 associated with the Association activity. There will be no punitive actions on evaluations or negative 21 verbal or written repercussions for the use of time off as provided in this section.
