Section 10.1.1. Sick Leave Accumulation. 2 Twelve (12) days of sick leave will be granted each regular employee who works the approved 3 District student calendar or more days per work year. Employees who work less than the approved 4 District student calendar days per work year will earn one (1) day each fifteen (15) days worked. A 5 "day" of sick leave is a typical or average work-day of the employee.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

  • Vacation Accumulation (a) Vacations are not cumulative from year to year.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month. Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.

An employee who is absent because of disability leave and who is receiving disability indemnity payments may request that the amount of disability indemnity payment be supplemented with salary to be charged against the employee's sick leave with pay credits so as to equal the amount the employee would have earned for a regular work schedule. If the employee wishes to exercise this option, the employee must submit a signed statement to the employee's department no later than thirty (30) days following the employee's release from disability leave.
