School Visitors. The present policy for visitors in the school building shall continue in effect. This policy provides for visitor registration, proof of identification and statement of business, under penalty of law (cf. Baltimore City Code Article 18, Section 1-38). Teachers shall be notified prior to visitors being sent to the classroom. Efforts will be made to escort visitors when appropriate.
School Visitors. (a) The Board and the Federation agree that parents or guardians of students attending the school are not only welcome to the New Haven Public Schools but also shall be encouraged to visit such schools. However, such visits should be conducted in such a way so as not to interrupt the school educational program.
School Visitors. 1. The Board of Directors of the Green Mountain School District welcomes and encourages visits to school by parents, other adult residents of the community, and interested educators.
School Visitors. Parents and other visitors are always welcome, but you must have an appointment if you wish to see a teacher or visit a classroom during the school day. At all times, visitors are required to sign in and out from the Main Vestibule and wear a visitor’s badge. Articles to be delivered to children during school hours should be left at the Main Vestibule. In this way, we limit class interruptions and focus on learning. At no time, should articles be delivered via the cafeteria.
School Visitors. All visitors/personnel during closed session will stay out of inner office areas.
School Visitors. All visitors are required to wear a face mask and pass a temperature check prior to entering school buildings, unless instructed otherwise. Upon passing a temperature check all visitors are required to report to the front office with a valid state issued ID and sign in. Upon signing in, each person will be issued a Visitor Sticker. An individual who is on school property without the approval of the front office is considered trespassing and authorities will be called. STUDENT TRANSPORTATION AND BUS SAFETY All students are expected to ride their assigned bus home. If the student is to ride a different bus a signed note that includes the parent phone number must be submitted to the office before the start of the first class. No changes will be made without written documentation and approval from the front office. Only students participating in an organized and sponsored after school activity may ride the activity bus home. The bus driver has full charge of the students when they are riding the bus. The bus is an extension of the classroom and the rules that apply to the classroom extend to the bus.
