The Resident agrees to observe all published policies and procedures affecting their status with the university, which are included in the Terms and Conditions by reference to these University publications: the Code of Student Conduct, and the Housing & Residence Life Guide to Living on Campus. (A) The Resident agrees and acknowledges it is his/her responsibility to become aware of and observe all published policies, rules, and regulations affecting his or her status with the University. (B) If the Resident commits one of the acts described below and outlined in Addendum 1, it shall automatically result in review of their status as a Resident by the Office of University Housing. Should the Resident be found in violation of one of these acts, immediate revocation of the Housing Agreement, termination of residency, and loss of any and all housing fees may occur. (1) Use, possession, or distribution of narcotics or dangerous drugs as defined by local, state, and federal laws and not prescribed by a medical doctor. (2) Use and/or possession of alcoholic beverages in individual rooms or other Residence Hall areas, or university-owned or controlled property in contravention of established University policy and procedure or in violation of local or state laws.
Rules, Policies, and Regulations a. Violations of any of the policies outlined below will result in referral through the Xxxxxxxx College Student Conduct System. The Xxxxxxxx College Student Code of Conduct, located in Major Facts, outlines the Conduct process. Violations of residence hall policies are viewed as violations of the Code of Conduct and will be handled as such.

The Board retains sole right and shall have the right to manage and conduct its obligation in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan subject only to the condition that it shall not do so in any manner which constitutes a violation of this Agreement. Without limiting to any extend the generality of the foregoing, the Board shall have the right to promulgate at any time and to enforce any rules, policies and regulations which do not violate the terms of this Agreement, and which it considers necessary or advisable for the safe, effective and efficient operation of the School District. Any administrator who violates or fails to comply herewith shall be subject to such provision of the Agreement which relates to such discipline or discharge. Every employee of the school district is expected to adhere to Board policies and procedures. Board policies shall be made available for review online.
