RULES AND ORDERS. Written orders shall be issued to provide direction for new Rules, Department operations, Programs, and Procedures. The City shall give a copy of any change or addition to the Procedures Manual or any file letter to the President of Local 3382 a minimum of ten (10) days prior to its effective date. The written order and new rules shall be subject to the grievance procedure provided herein up to the office of the Chief/Director. Decisions of the Chief/Director relative to Rule or Procedure changes appealed under the provisions of this Section shall not be subject to arbitration unless there is a violation of the collective bargaining agreement. A copy of the Rule Book and all subsequent changes shall be provided to each member by the City. Verbal orders shall continue to be used in emergency situations and also in those non- emergency situations where such orders are issued for the purpose of carrying out pre- established policies of the Department. In the event certain verbal orders are causing confusion and thereby leading to non-uniformity in Department operations, such orders when called to the attention of the Administration shall be reduced to writing for clarification.

RULES AND ORDERS. ‌ All Rules and Special Orders shall be issued in written form and shall be submitted to the Association via FAX copy three (3) calendar days before they are to take effect. These matters shall be subject to the grievance procedure provided in Section 2129.14 “Grievance Procedure” up to the Third (3rd) Step, to the Director of Safety. The decision of the Director relative to Rules and Special Orders appealed under the provisions of this section shall not be subject to arbitration. However, the reasonableness of the application of a Rule or Special Order in specific disciplinary proceedings shall be a matter for arbitration. A copy of the Department Manual, Rule changes, and Special Orders shall be provided to each Police Officer defined within this agreement. The Association will be provided copies of all Administrative, Personnel, Notices and Bulletins, Bureau, District and Section Orders. The issuance of these orders will not be subject to any appeal procedure. However, if the implementation of such orders violates any section of this contract, then it shall be subject to the grievance procedure.
RULES AND ORDERS. 14.01 Prior to implementation of any Policies, Procedures, and Work Rules, Union Directors will be notified of the changes and will be given 5 calendar days from the date of distribution to request a meeting to discuss them. Said meeting shall be held within 5 calendar days of the request to meet. Policies, Procedures, and Work Rules will be issued electronically in advance of the effective date and signed electronically, acknowledging receipt.

  • Compliance with Laws, Rules and Regulations Except as otherwise provided in this Section 11.C., from and after the Commencement Date, Tenant shall, at its sole cost and expense, cause the Premises and Tenant’s use thereof to comply with all laws, ordinances, orders, rules and regulations of state, federal, municipal or other agencies or bodies having jurisdiction over the use, condition or occupancy of the Premises. Any repairs, alterations or modifications to the exterior or structural elements of the Building or to the Common Areas of the Project necessary to comply with applicable laws shall be made by Landlord and shall be included within the definition of Operating Expenses and reimbursed to Landlord under Section 7 of this Lease, provided, however, Tenant shall be solely responsible and shall reimburse Landlord for the entire cost and expense of such work if compliance is necessary due to Tenant’s specific use or occupancy of the Premises or due to Tenant’s acts or omissions, or as a result of any alterations, modifications or improvements to the Premises or Building constructed by or on behalf of Tenant. Tenant will also comply with the reasonable rules and regulations of the Project adopted by Landlord. Landlord shall have the right at all times, upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to Tenant, to change and amend the rules and regulations in any reasonable manner as may be deemed advisable for the safety, care, cleanliness, preservation of good order and operation or use of the Project or the Premises. All rules and regulations of the Project, and amendments or modifications thereof, will be sent by Landlord to Tenant in writing and shall thereafter be carried out and observed by Tenant.

  • Compliance with Rules and Regulations PFPC undertakes to comply with all applicable requirements of the Securities Laws and any laws, rules and regulations of governmental authorities having jurisdiction with respect to the duties to be performed by PFPC hereunder.   • Violence Policies and Procedures The Employer agrees to have in place explicit policies and procedures to deal with violence. The policy will address the prevention of violence, the management of violent situations, provision of legal counsel and support to employees who have faced violence. The policies and procedures shall be part of the employee's health and safety policy and written copies shall be provided to each employee. Prior to implementing any changes to these policies, the employer agrees to consult with the Association.

  • Compliance with Consensus Policies and Temporary Policies Registry Operator shall comply with and implement all Consensus Policies and Temporary Policies found at <xxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xxx/general/consensus-­‐policies.htm>, as of the Effective Date and as may in the future be developed and adopted in accordance with the ICANN Bylaws, provided such future Consensus Polices and Temporary Policies are adopted in accordance with the procedure and relate to those topics and subject to those limitations set forth in Specification 1 attached hereto (“Specification 1”).

  • Confidentiality and Safeguarding of University Records; Press Releases; Public Information Under this Agreement, Contractor may (1) create, (2) receive from or on behalf of University, or (3) have access to, records or record systems (collectively, University Records). At the request of University, Contractor agrees to provide University with a written summary of the procedures Contractor uses to safeguard and maintain the confidentiality of University Records.
