Restoring the Resources. Would recognize that a truly restored Bay will include a restored ecosystem that sustainably supports diverse aquatic and terrestrial life, including healthy and livable human communities. Would include several goal statements: Restore, enhance and protect the finfish, shellfish and other living resources, their habitats and ecological relationship to sustain all fisheries and provide for a balanced ecosystem in the watershed and Bay. Restore, enhance and protect a network of land and water habitats to support priority species and to afford other public benefits, including water quality, recreational uses and scenic value across the watershed. Maintain local watersheds at optimal health across a range of landscape contexts. Conserve landscapes treasured by citizens to maintain water quality and habitat; sustain working forests, farms and maritime communities; and conserve lands of cultural, indigenous and community value. Expand public access to the Bay and its tributaries through existing and new local, state and federal parks, refuges, reserves, trails and partner sites. Every student in the region graduates environmentally literate having participated in meaningful watershed educational experiences in elementary, middle, and high school that were supported by teachers who have received professional development in environmental education and schools that are models of environmental sustainability.

  • Modification of the Small Generating Facility The Interconnection Customer must receive written authorization from the NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner before making any change to the Small Generating Facility that may have a material impact on the safety or reliability of the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System. Such authorization shall not be unreasonably withheld. Modifications shall be done in accordance with Good Utility Practice. If the Interconnection Customer makes such modification without the prior written authorization of the NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall have the right to temporarily disconnect the Small Generating Facility. If disconnected, the Small Generating Facility will not be reconnected until the unauthorized modifications are authorized or removed.

  • SERVICE MONITORING, ANALYSES AND ORACLE SOFTWARE 11.1 We continuously monitor the Services to facilitate Oracle’s operation of the Services; to help resolve Your service requests; to detect and address threats to the functionality, security, integrity, and availability of the Services as well as any content, data, or applications in the Services; and to detect and address illegal acts or violations of the Acceptable Use Policy. Oracle monitoring tools do not collect or store any of Your Content residing in the Services, except as needed for such purposes. Oracle does not monitor, and does not address issues with, non-Oracle software provided by You or any of Your Users that is stored in, or run on or through, the Services. Information collected by Oracle monitoring tools (excluding Your Content) may also be used to assist in managing Oracle’s product and service portfolio, to help Oracle address deficiencies in its product and service offerings, and for license management purposes.

  • Engineer Resources The Engineer shall furnish and maintain quarters for the performance of all services, in addition to providing adequate and sufficient personnel and equipment to perform the services required under the contract. The Engineer certifies that it presently has adequate qualified personnel in its employment for performance of the services required under this contract, or it will be able to obtain such personnel from sources other than the State.

  • Allocation and use of scarce resources Any procedures for the allocation and use of scarce resources, including frequencies, numbers and rights of way, will be carried out in an objective, timely, transparent and non-discriminatory manner. The current state of allocated frequency bands will be made publicly available, but detailed identification of frequencies allocated for specific government uses is not required.

  • Water Resources Four (4) Union Stewards unless the unit falls below sixty (60) employees and then not more than two (2) Union Stewards.

  • CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION Construction of academic or residential buildings on the UC Berkeley campus may be scheduled for the term of this Lease in the vicinity of the apartments. Capital improvement and other major housing construction or repair projects will necessarily cause increased noise and dust in affected and nearby residences at certain times. There is the possibility of both planned and unplanned utility shutdowns and access to certain facilities, streets, parking lots, walking, and bike pathways may be limited, rerouted, or completely restricted. The University will work with building contractors to make every effort to minimize construction inconveniences. By agreeing to this Lease Agreement, the Resident acknowledges notice of the possibility of scheduled construction and access limitations, and acknowledges that there will be disturbances, disruptions, and inconveniences resulting from such constructions and has agreed to such. The Resident also acknowledges that increased noise, dust, potential reassignment, or loss of parking spaces related to construction or renovation are not grounds for cancellation or termination of this Lease.

  • Outpatient emergency and urgicenter services within the service area The emergency room copay applies to all outpatient emergency visits that do not result in hospital admission within twenty-four (24) hours. The urgicenter copay is the same as the primary care clinic office visit copay.

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If CBB chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, CBB’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by CBB to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG.

  • Education and Specialized Knowledge Preferably secondary school graduation; a good working knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations; a good knowledge of safety rules and regulations as they pertain to the driving and/or operation of the vehicles, equipment and machinery involved; preferably graduation from a defensive driving course and/or a recognized training program in the driving and operation of commercial type vehicle or heavy equipment.
